Useful Information
La Paz Marina
La Paz stands with grace on a wide bay of the Sea of Cortez and remains a tranquil and very Mexican port. It has managed to preserve an almost nostalgic 'old Baja' atmosphere.
On this tour, you'll enjoy a visit to the Cathedral built in the XVIII century and admire its stunning architecture and grandeur. You'll also take a trip to the anthropology museum where you can see vestiges of the ancient peninsular inhabitants, as well as rupestran paintings.
The city has a commercial area where you can purchase imported items tax free, as well as authentic Mexican handcrafts. You'll enjoy a lunch in a traditional restaurant and then head to Todos Santos, an enchanting town where many artists create their regional blend of contemporary and Mexican rustic art.
Get your camera ready to take a picture of Hotel California, made famous by claims that it was Don Henley's inspiration for the famous Eagle's song 'Hotel California'. Before heading back to your Los Cabos hotel, you'll also get to visit the art galleries, home made candy stores, the Mission and a lot more!

It was pretty good. Had more fun at the small village stops on the way there and back. The blanket factory was excellent. Our driver was really nice and informative. I would love to take a shorter trip to the smaller villages we stopped at on the way back to our resort.
