Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Mount Titlis Eternal Snow Half-Day Trip from Lucerne. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
The day may have been foggyu/hazy on the mountain but it was still fun. When we booked the tour, based on other reviews, I wasn't sure how many of the optional adventures we would be able to fit in. We had about 2 hours and 15 minutes on the mountain and wer able to do the ice flyer, suspension bridge and ice cave. I recommend asking the ice flyer attendants to leave the canopy open, even if the weather isn't terrific, because it fogs up quicly when down. I would caution anyne who is afraid of confined spaces to research when the new gondolas are going into operation, because currently the operators are jamming as many people as they can into each of the 2 gondolas necessary to reach the top of Mount Titlis. I am not afraid of confined spaces and thought it was unconfortable.
This trip was amazing the guide Sonia was really nice and gave us enough info and time to enjoy the views and the snow amazing excursion
What a fantastic day! The mountain, views and attractions we first class.
It was well organised. Every moment was interesting. The tour guide Erika was fantastic and did a wonderful job. Money well spent.
It was very nice experience. The day was sunny, enjoyed each activity in the tour.
The chairlift ride on the Ice Flyer and slide down the Glacier Park snow slide were most exciting.
Suggestion : Manage the time for each activity properly so as to cover all the things.
The only thing that could have been better was the weather!
Despite the low cloud and low visibility on the mountain it was an enjoyable trip. The drive from Lucerne was beautiful - almost worth doing on it's own.
The ice tunnel was impressive as was the hot chocolate to warm up afterwards!
Good tour, excellent views. It may be a little short on time, but it was a good experience
Great views and nice to have a guide to help navigate the trip to the top.
It was a great trip and very well organized. Full value for your money and not to be missed !!!
We are so pleased we did this tour. It was amazing and we were lucky to see snow at the end of May, it was very special. If you visit Switzerland you have to see amount Titlus - isn't an absolute must. We have some of the best photos ever from here and we went on a 4 week trip around Europe. My only suggestion is to hire snow boots before walking to the suspension bridge or bring another pair of socks.
Tour was really good it was heavily snowing and we went upto mount Titlis cable car ride was awesome tour guide was really good highly appreciate it
My second time to do this tour. Previously I went with my daughter 3 years ago and incidentally we had the same tour guide as we did this time. Weather was perfect a wonderful panoramic view awaited us at the top. Robert is careful to explain everything clearly so you do get the best out of your time on the mountain.
Previously the weather was not in our favour but we enjoyed how volatile and changeable the mountain was. I will happily do this tour again. oh and the Indian Samosa at the bottom of the mountain too are amazing.
The view is really extraordinary! Everyone should go there one in their lifetime to experience it :)
This was a great organized tour with clear instructions on the timing and the places to cover. The tour guide was extremely friendly.
Trip was wonderful. The views were spectacular. The guide could have explained things a little better but overall it was well worth it. Would do it again.
The tour was well organized, and the top of the mountain was fun. However, if the weather is bad, you won't get the full experience. The day I went up it was cloudy and you literally could not see anything besides fog outside the glass of either of the second gondolas. If the views are the important part for you, then make sure you set your expectations appropriately if the weather is bad.
Great tour. Guides were excellent. Although it was a whiteout up top and we couldn't do a couple of the planned activities that is not the companies fault. We were happy as it was!
Excellent and hassle-free! Mt. Titlis was an amazing experience and the Ice Flyer and Cliff Walk were one of the best activities from my European tour.
The tour guide was VERY knowledgeable. The suspension bridge was awesome. Well organized and we definitely recommend this excursion to anyone. 10,000 feet up--dress warm!!!
Fantastic trip. It was -15 degrees and no visibilty at the top but still worth the visit.
