To tour the above, the easiest way to get to the locations is to use a tour company but alot of the information is skimmed over and we were never given time to visit the bazaars or vendors outside the sites. Even if the vendors tended to be overpriced etc, it would have been nice to at least be able to view. We missed out on alot of nick nacks etc and it should have been up to us to say whether or not we wanted to browse.

It's cheaper to get this tour in Luxor.

Guess what Yes, the tour guide, in the Valley of the Kings made us visit the 3 tombs and that's it. What about the rest of the valley? Can't we take a quick walk around, NO! It's good that that happened because next time I'll be far away from guided tours and buy a lonely planet book and take my own time.
