The tour is great.... Mr Carlos (the main guide) n the bus driver is very helpful and patient with all the people in the tour.
The hotel breakfast n dinner somehow need abit of more variety except the hotel at Costa del sol which is great
I've recently returned from a 5 day Spain tour beginning in Madrid. The tour guide Josep had a lot of energy and was very entertaining. All the major cities had their own tour guides who were professional and informative. The scenery was magnificent, the hotels were excellent to good the Granada hotel although clean was out of town and away from the city centre. The optional tours were good also. A lot of ground is covered with this tour so there isn't a lot of down time but I was keen to see as much as possible. Toledo was a highlight and Ronda happened to be celebrating a Romantica Festival which meant that the entire town was in celebration mode with costumes, processions and food stalls. I would highly recommend this tour. For some strange reason Spain tends to drop of most people's European itinerary but I don't believe you could find it disappointing.
Would recommend this tour. Hugo, the guide did a good job. However, wished we had a more interesting guide at Alhambra. Driver was skilful n drove well. One down side was having 3 translations throughout the 5 days. This took up a lot of time. Two languages would be acceptable but three was just too much! Hotel Melia Costa de Sol had very good food and excellent service at its restaurant.
Our tour guide joseph was the best. The hotels could be better and nearer the city center. If your lucky and you get a good local guide you will fall in love with their history but of course theres joseph to fill in missing info. This is the best and the safest way to see andalucia
Great value. Wonderful sights. Could not have managed on own with same outcomes. Arrangements good. Tour guide outstanding and additional guides at some of the sights were also knowledgeable, professional and well organized
This tour, with the operator, was well planned and efficiently organised. A lot (but not too much) was packed into five days. The tour guide who accompanied us for the whole journey was knowledgeable, fluent in several languages, and unfailingly good-humoured. On four occasions local guides were added to cover important historical sites. The bus was modern and comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well in the late July/early August heat. When a mechanical problem showed signs of developing on the last day, the bus was changed. There was thus a delay at a rest stop, but the tour was not curtailed. It was very good value for money. The hotels were generally excellent, and the meals were usually oustanding.
Excellent value for money: 3 lovely hotels out of 4 can't be bad! Beautiful locations, good tour guides, packed programme of lots to see but also some free time to explore. Interesting cosmopolitan group of travellers who generally mixed well together. Great snapshot of Spain with tasters of places to return visit. Thank you!
This trip was well organised, well paced with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. Everything ran on time, the places chosen were great, although would have preferred to spend less time at Torremolinos and more time at Toledo. The local guides were excellent, the bus driver called Jesus performed driving miracles on the narrow roads! The hotel were a good standard and the food was. Generally good to excellent. The additional tours were good value especially the flamenco show in Seville. I highly recommend the tour, we saw so much in the five days that we could not have done by ourselves!
perfect! Geseppe was a wonderful tour guide. TEN stars!
Madrid guide walked too fast; didn't count people, causing frustration.
Good hotels. Great cities. All guides were good.
Except for the last night's accommodations and the tour guide at the Al-Hambra, the trip was fantastic! We saw all of the sites, had fantastic tour guides in Seville and Cordova had a wonderful outing. The bus was comfortable and we had enough of a balance of tours and free time. Most of the meals were great, with a wide selection of everything. Rarely was there not anything to please the appetite. Guiseppe, our tour guide was fantastic. He knew history and each location well. His insights into the local towns gave us a great introduction to the sights we saw.
Just a great value for what you get, well organized and Guides very helpful!! Will do it again
Had a great time. Friends and I learned so much. The hotels were really nice. The food was ok. Beautiful sites and great tour guides. We had so much fun. Really worth it.
Our tour was inspiring, informative, most enjoyable and other participants were like old friends. Tour guides were excellent all the way. (Although not a word about the devastating effect of Christopher Columbus - with the Church's blessing - on the people of the Americas.) Rita C
Excellent tour with knowledgeable, informative guides. The Tour Leader was also excellent, and our hotels were beyond our expectation of 3* hotels. Great value for money...highly recommended.
Just a right mix of group activities and free time.
Covered a lot in 5 days. Our guide was funny and informative.
I highly recommend this tour !
Really great, included all i wanted to see in a short time. Could not have been better organised or executed. Well done to everyone, especially josepp andsalvatofe
The 5 day tour was a great way to see the historic south of Spain. The guided tours through Cordoba, Sevilla and Granada were worthwhile. Personally the Cordoba and Seville tours were a highlight and I would be keen to go back and see a bit more of those cities. The bus coach was of high quality and very comfortable and the driver made the trip very smooth. The tour guide was very helpful, informative and provided historical perspective to many of the places we visited and the things we saw. Overall a very enjoyable trip and a great way to see the historical places when time is limited.
This 5 day tour covered a lot of territory and history of Spain. The tour guide on board was excellent, kept track of all the wanderers and provided excellent background information and history of the various cities. We visited Cordoba, Sevilla, Toledo, Costa del Sol and Granada. The onsite specialized guides in place such as the cathedral in Cordoba, Alhambra, the old Jewish quarters were all well informed and made the arduous walks uphill in the heat, on cobblestones in the rain fun. We took an excellent side trip to see traditional flamenco dancing one night and that was spellbinding. All the hotels were comfortable, some more than others with the Hotel Los Angeles in Granada being a real treat. i did not want to leave the hotel but there was so much of interest to see in Granada besides the Alhambra. All breakfasts were great, filling with lots of variety and most of the dinner buffets were the same.
There is a lot of walking and they do prepare you for this in the description of the trip but it is uphill on cobblestone and by the 4th day this can wreak havoc on old bodies. Just be prepared with good shoes. Also if you need a CPAP machine be sure to alert the hotels ahead of time because several hotels on this trip as well as others in Madrid, did not have outlets in the bedrooms. All in all it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it epecially if you are pressed for time. There is no way you could do all this on your own. You would also miss the history lessons and not get to share in an opportunity to meet fellow travellers and share their interesting experiences. The bus was comfortable but did not have a washroom. WE could have used more washroom stops along the way.
