Very informative. Lunch was very good. Would have liked a little more time to shop, but otherwise, excellent. Highly recommend this trip.

A lot was packed into this wonderful day. There was much to see, and we had a knowledgeable English-speaking guide. It was well worth the money.

We LOVED THIS TOUR. The aqueducts were amazing and the walled city was wonderful. If we were doing this again we would skip the lunch and eat on the street or bring our own food. Lunch was outstanding we had lamb, beef, wine, soup, bread, etc.. But there was so much to see and lunch took all most an hour we would have love to wonder around and just enjoyed the beautiful sights and city.

Dear friends - I want everyone to know how truly great this short tour north of Madrid was. The weather was great, the sites were great and the staff was enthusiastic. I fell in love with Spain and best of all, I fell in love with someone on the tour. I'm from the US and she's from Uruguay and our journey together is not over. It's like I stumbled and have been falling for 20 years and in Segovia - she caught me. You can bet I'll never forget my Viator day trip from Madrid. It was priceless. Thank you.

This day tour was excellent. The tour guide did a great job of explaining points of interest along the way from Madrid, all the way to Avila, the first stop. For a day tour you get to see quite a few things in both cities. The aqueduct and castle are "don't miss" sites in Segovia. Both cities are up in the mountains, especially Segovia snow covered mountain nearby so don't be stupid like me and forget a light jacket.
I would recommend this tour in a heartbeat, and the tour operator did a great job. One word of warning when picking up your tickets. The address leads down an empty passageway to a back alley, not a 'bus station' as indicated on your vouchers. Go around the corner from the Burger King about 50 feet and look for the office.

Reviewed by: Ken B, United States, May 2007 Note from Viator: Thanks for your note, and we apologize that the directions were unclear. We have contacted the local operator and, based on your feedback, updated the location information and directions to the office on Gran Via. Full details are included on the Viator Voucher, which you receive after making a booking. Thanks again for your comments!

This tour caught us off guard. These two fortified cities are at very high elevations and the threat of snowed scared us Southern Californians with our windbreakers. The trip was nice. The visits to the churches and castles was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone asking.
