This trip was wonderful. It's absolutely worth it! Make sure that you reserve for Segovian cuisine. Just the right amount of sightseeing for the day and you can still catch a dinner in Madrid.

Such a beautiful area. I saw places I have dreamed of seeing, which would have been difficult to get to if we had opted to rent a car. With Viator we learned the history of the area. Our guide was engaging and entertaining.

The towns themselves are well worth seeing. The places are lovely, but it takes a good drive to get to them from Madrid. We were disappointed with our tour guide. She walked very quickly and many people had a hard time keeping up. The majority of the tourists were Spanish, and the guide translated from English to Spanish every few minutes. It was very confusing and when you asked her questions, she seemed put off. The gastronomic meal in Segovia was unbelievable!

Too much time was spent touring Segovia Cathedral that could have been spent seeing more of the city.

It was a shame the Avila Cathedral was not open to the public at the time, but besides that our guide was somewhat soft-spoken. Although he used a microphone, something about his speaking style in English was often hard to catch. Avila and Segovia are definitely worthwhile places to visit but you might want to research a bit on your own beforehand.

Both cities are very interesting! Nice places to visit! The tour is so so! Absolutely the worst tour guide we ever had from many years of traveling with different tour operators. She did not speak enough English! Very boring and did not know the topic to answer the questions. Complete disappointment!

This tour proved surprisingly good. I took this tour initially as an afterthought to Toledo. I found this tour to be far superior. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The tour was well planned, though I would prefer to spend slightly less time in Avila and have a little more time in Segovia. The Cathedral and Alcazar of Segovia are very impressive. There was ample free time on this tour to get a feel for the town of Segovia as well, but we enjoyed it enough that I wish we'd had just a little bit more. I'd definitely recommend this tour.

We loved Segovia, but Avila isn't as we remembered it as there is so much new construction just outside the wall.

This was a good trip. I would suggest that the tour skip Avila and spend more time in Segovia. The aqueducts are amazing! They deserve more time. We chose our own spot for lunch and had a great meal of suckling pig. It also wound up being cheaper and gave us more time to walk around Segovia.

Tour guide was poor quality...did not seem to really care about the tour. Also, tour is given in both Spanish and English, which slows the already rushed tour down. Also frustrating that the Spanish explanations were always first; as English speakers, we were in essence treated as second class. The sites themselves were amazing. Lunch was good.

Great! It is a must see. I wish we had more time to look around, eat and shop, but still definitely worth doing. Easy to find tour agency, no problem checking in, and they have English speaking employees.
