The Royal Palace was worth seeing. It had a lot of history and beautiful interiors. The tourist trap was the Flamenco dancer and shop. Had nothing to do with the tour.

It was Sunday morning, no big traffic. Our guide was quite a nice lady. We could have spent more time in royal palace with the Cathedral visit, which was not part of the tour.

I thought we spent too much time at the University City, we could have used a bit more history of Madrid.

I was very disappointed with the tour guide. She could hardly speak English and did not explain anything except what year this was built or what year this was made or what year this king died. She spoke Spanish with Spanish tourists for a long time but spoke only a few words of English. This was the second time I went with this company, and twice I have been disappointed with the guide. I got the feeling that the guides just wanted to finish as quickly as possible and avoid looking at me in case I wanted to ask questions.
