We went on this tour our first night in Madrid and could not have had a better introduction to the city and its cuisine and culture. Our guide was wonderful. His recommendations were always delicious, and he helped us experience a variety of Spanish dishes. The perfect start to our trip!

The tour was fun. Our guide shared a lot of interesting history while we walked between the four tapas bars. He also modified the stops to accommodate our interests, since there were only two of us on this particular night. The tour lasted about 3.5 hours, and we were able to sample a good selection of local tapas food and drinks. Similar to other reviews, I would plan on bringing an additional 20-30 euros to cover the costs of the food and drink at the last 3 stops. It was well worth it though, and I would do it again!

Our guide was great and the tour itself was more than food also sightseeing and valuable insight into historic Madrid. The Tapas was an enormous experience on its own,with the great variety we were exposed to as well as the drinks,will always recommend this!

Wonderful tour. The guide was a delight. The food and drink outstanding. Not your standard cheese or meat on bread claiming to be "Tapas". Highlight of our trip and worth more then we paid.

We loved this tour! We were only in Madrid for one night and needed help getting acclimated to the city. Our guide was amazing and took us to some great spots, recommended great food and drinks and was super helpful to help us navigate the city and gave us great tips to learn Spanish culture and etiquette. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to anyone. We'd definitely do it again.

This trip was a blast. Tried all kinds of great tapas and wines. The guide was fun and knowledgeable, and the group was a lot of fun. Don't miss out on this tour.

Absolute highlight of our trip! Our tour guide was extremely energetic and knew Madrid like the back of her hand. It is an absolute must do when you are in Madrid!

It's all about the guide and this one was great. We went to a number of places. There was great variety, and you're systematically introduced to most of the unique Spanish cuisine. The guide was also great about pointing out scenic highlights and restaurants that were not a part of the night, but worth visiting at other times. Here's the catch. I felt manipulated all night. He recommended each person chip in 40 Euro, and although he said anyone could hold the pool funds quite obviously a group of strangers would pick the guide to do so. It was quite clear that the guide had some type of backhand agreement with the establishments we visited. It seems what we could get was set in stone even though he would present these options as mere recommendations. Even when the group unanimously said that they weren't interested in one particular dish, he pressed until we got it. I didn't see him actually pay anyone, I wasn't watching that closely so maybe he just pocketed some extra cash. That being said, the manipulating didn't really adversely affect us. We probably each ate at least 30 Euro worth of food, and I would still strongly recommend this tour.

Bills are paid for honestly and in full with the prior agreement of clients. The 'pay-as-you-go' system is designed to give clients more control over what they eat and how much they spend. The guides do try to direct clients in the direction of authentic Spanish food, as this is the idea of the tour and how they really get a taste of what the Spanish culture is all about, but at the end of the day the choice is up to them.'
By far the best tour on our month long trip to Spain and Portugal. Host was entertaining, full of interesting bits of info and very helpful with suggestions and extra info. This is an excellent company offering a super tour, well worth it!

Fantastic tour! Very knowledgeable and pleasant guide. He was able to answer any questions, and we learned a lot. The tour was very well planned; every place we visited was authentic, and that's what we were looking for. If I had a chance, I would personally thank him for such wonderful experience.
