What You Can Expect
Meet your knowledgeable guide in a central location in Madrid as the setting sun begins cast an incandescent glow over Spain’s captivating capital. Listen to a comprehensive safety briefing then step onto your state-of-the-art Segway to begin your darkened discovery.
Weave your way into the resplendent neighborhood of Los Austrias to witness the extravagant evidence of the Hasburg dynasty; marvel at the fabulous façade of the Royal Palace of Madrid (Palacio Real) and enjoy the enticing aromas exuding from surrounding mesones, typical Castilian restaurants serving sublime specialties.
Next, glide down Calle Cuchilleros, a vibrant street replete with atmospheric cafes and restaurants, until your arrive at Mercado de San Miguel. Hailed as one of Madrid’s most popular nightlife spots, the market transforms its daytime gourmet food stalls into buzzing bars at night. Enjoy the electric ambience then circle the sparkling Plaza de la Villa Square in order to appreciate its elegant 17th-century architecture.
Capture fabulous photographs outside of the Almudena Cathedral then soar past the city’s luminescent opera house, Teatro Real, listening out for the emotion song of world-class performers. Bid your guide and group farewell at the tour’s departure point then set out into the night to enjoy Madrid’s exuberant offerings.
We did the segway tour in the evening as a group of 8 family members. The guide was very helpful and reassuring during the familiarisation session. During the tour he explained things in a very good manner and had a good level of English. He took us to some very good attractions, including the Royal Palace and Cathederal. I would deffinately book this again as it gave us a good insight to some nice attraction quickly, without getting too tired.
This was a fantastic tour and a great way to experience a slice of Barcelona.
So much fun! Guide was knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our requests. Only downside was that the starting point was a bit hard to find. Better directions please!
The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Great tour!
This was an incredibly fun tour covering the majority of the best sites in Madrid. I loved travelling through the cobbled lane ways and side streets, the sedgways themselves are very fast and intuitive. The guides make sure that your fully prepared before racing through the streets, so you need not worry if you've never used one before. The guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and spent much more time with my friend and I than the 90 minute tour we initially paid for. This is a brilliant experience to have in Madrid, it is also much better priced than most sedgway tours we found. Do it, you wont regret it.
Great and very interesting tour around the city center. Waiting the moment to repeat again.
Even though I'd visited the places before the info the tour guide gave made it all seem brand new. Seeing as my wife and I had never been on a segway the training was great.

I enjoyed this so much. My guide wasn't the best in terms of depth of knowledge of the sites we visited, but i still had a lot of fun. It's a fun way to view the city. I recommend it.
I would recommend this tour for those who want a different perspective of Madrid. It does a good job of combining fun with history while on the move. Usually with a walking tour you may get tired after some time, but since it is done via the segway I think getting tired is tough to do. The one thing I wished was that the tour was a bit longer. Our tour was 1hr but I think 1.5hrs is the sweet spot.
Despite selecting the English option we were placed in a mixed group. The tour guide spent twice the amount of time translating between two languages hence less time on the Segway's and fewer sites visited.
