Again excellent tour guide and tour, but same deal with shops shut and lunch to long taking time out of the tour. I would also suggest the tour guides use whispers like in Rome. Our groups were fairly small, hearing could be a problem with larger groups.

I saw all the highlights in the one day tour with an excellent tour guide.

This was a wonderful, full day experience. The guide was very well informed and the group size was great. Visited all the major sights and lunch was good. Be advised though, that this is quite a strenuous trip. Walking on cobblestones, up and down many flights of stairs with no handrails at times, should be considered when booking this trip. I thought it was well worth the effort.

This is absolutely a great day tour. Our guide was most knowledgeable and explained the art and history of this town.

This is definitely worth doing. It's much better than visiting on your own, especially if you don't know anything about the town and El Greco. The restaurant, however, could definitely be a little better.

I took the afternoon trip. If you want more time in Toledo than take the full day. We saw everything that we wanted and it was just the right amount of time. Even though I had the same guide on this trip that was so awful on the previous day tour he seemed to be on good behaviour. Toldedo is beautiful and this tour was great.

Certainly a must when you visit Madrid. The bus was clean. The tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and conversed in both English and Spanish without anyone feeling left out. When we reached Toledo she would talk to the Spanish audience and then the English audience so we all understood the beauty of this city. We had lunch included which was very tasty and abundant. This is a walking tour so bring comfortable shoes. The city was fabulous. From the cathedral to El Greco it was an amazing visit. The architecture and the history was enjoyable to listen to. Truly spectacular.

The Toledo tour was great. The double-decker tour bus only carried passengers on the top deck, hence there were no bad spots to sit in. From the front seat I had a great view of everything along the ride. The tour guide was a very knowledgeable gentleman - quite an intellectual. He took the time to translate into three other languages besides English. Very detailed, lots of helpful comments. I would take this tour all over again if I ever went back to Madrid!
