Everything was very well organized and we had a lovely guide. Take tour without lunch and you will have more time to shop or just explore by yourself. Definitely should go on this trip. Toledo is so beautiful.

Excellent knowledgeable guide, with good English and knowledge. Plenty to see - but should have stayed for whole day as so much to see.

It was worth doing, but the half-day would have been sufficient.

This is a great tour for lovers of history. Our guide was excellent, very well-informed and made the trip fun. Forget about the lunch and spend the time looking around on your own instead.

I simply adored Toledo, but found the guide under pressure to show us the city in such a limited time frame. We raced from site to site and did not get to explore on our own. We opted to stay in Toledo and return to Madrid on our own by bus later in the day. If I had it to do again, I would spend the entire day there. So much to see and do. This half day tour was too short and did not do the city of Toledo justice. The city is full of history, fine restaurants and MUCH Jewish History. More so than many other cities in Spain.

Our tourist guide was very knowledgeable about Toledo's history. She enjoys her job and is truly a gem. Walking tour was informative and manageable. However, the visit to that store where they sell swords & knives was a waste of time. I would have been happy to buy other stuff from the better stores if we were given the chance.

Lunch should be included in this package since it is not easy to coordinate separate lunches. We all went together for the suggested lunch, which was fine. I would have liked a few minutes to wander around and look at pottery.

Toledo is a a great city to visit. We did the full day tour. Since there was no traffic, the trip from Madrid to Toledo took only about an hour, another for return. There was barely enough time to see all the highlights of the city. However, the guide was very efficient in showing the most important places. We had lunch in one of the cafes. The lunch break gave us some time to do shopping as well not the case if you buy the full day tour with lunch option. Our only complaint was that the guide spoke Spanish about 80 percent of the time. She spoke English well and explained what we saw but Spanish speakers got more information from her.

The history and art were incredible. We had a very knoweledgeable guide who was keen to answer any questions. The tour was challenging because the guide had to deal with three languages - Spanish, Italian and English. I especially appreciated the way the guide kept everyone in line. Some people had the tendency to start talking as soon as the guide's piece in their language was finished. Our guide put a stop to that, which was highly appreciated. She also walked slowly enough through the streets of Toledo to make it enjoyable rather than an endurance test!
I would suggest that we have more time in Toledo to just wander around. Our guide has promised a stop at marzipan shops - something I had wanted to do since the last time I visited Toledo, but we never got a chance. It also didn't allow us to see other parts of Toledo. But all in all, it was a good day and well done.
Is nice.

This was a great place to visit, but you need to spend the whole day. Half a day is way too short. Our guide was very good, but we missed a great deal.
