Good experience, lunch particularly delicious. Worth doing for once.

This was a very good tour. Our group was too small for the driver to take us, but our guide quickly combined us with another group. Our guide was knowledgeable and lively, putting historical events into context. Toledo's streets are like a labyrinth, so it was very helpful to go with a guide.

Excellent tour. Our guide was most competent and knowledgeable. Wish a brief stop at a good ceramics shop were included.

Great! It is a must see. I wish we had more time to look around, eat and shop, but still definitely worth doing. Easy to find tour agency, no problem checking in, and they have English speaking employees.

Took the full day, could have done the half day I think. Lovely city, good guide.

A quick but very interesting view of Toledo. The visit to a jewelery shop is the only negative point.

Absolutely great but would recommend that the tour guide give you a few minutes at the end of each stop to buy gifts etc.

I was on the half day tour and I think it's a great tour if you don't have all day. Toledo is a fantastic city! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Keep in mind the only time you have to shop/use the restroom/grab a snack is towards the end of the tour before heading to Madrid.

We loved our guide and the trip was great. Monday it was tough to find a place to eat, most things closed. Seems part of the group booked some kind of lunch ahead of time, thought everyone should have had the same opportunity. Overall good.

Our guide was very inclusive of the two English speakers and I know just enough Spanish to know if something is dropped. It was a good and relaxing day and we saw the whole town.

We loved Toledo! The tour guide wasn't great. We were told we had admission into the cathedral, but the tour didn't include it. We toured the cathedral on our own in the afternoon. Be sure to do the whole day tour, it will give more time to see Toledo.

Great city, could have skipped the sword store in the end of the tour. Very boring and kind of a way to making you purchase things in the store. Our guide was very disinterested in giving info and it was very hard to listen to him.

Guide was very interesting and well spoken in both Spanish and English. She had an excellent knowledge of the area. Not enough time for shopping. Skip lunch and eat on your own. We were disappointed in stores we were taken to at the end of the tour.

Toledo was absolutely breathtaking. The city is just filled with history and art. I loved the walking part of the tour, we went up and down little alleys and cobblestone streets. We even got to see Mario Batali Iron Chef, as he was filming a show in town! My advice is to skip the lunch provided by the tour. They took us to a place that served very greasy chicken and potatoes, and the place was way understaffed. I felt bad for the overworked waiters. Go to town and have lunch on your own. Another thing: shopping in town looked great but they took us to a souvenir shop instead. If we had stayed for lunch, we would have had time to shop. So again, my advice is to skip the lunch and do this on your own.

Toledo is a fantastic little town about an hour outside of Madrid. The staff at the travel company were attentive and friendly. The tour is a little frustrating in that there is an awful lot of time on the bus and only about ninety minutes in Toledo itself. The last forty five minutes is spent in an absolute tourist trap of a shop where you are slightly coerced into buying something. Also, the tour is presented in English and Spanish by the same tour leader. The half day tour is plenty. The tour leaves at 3:00 p.m. and gets back about 7:00 p.m. with no meal. Still, I would definitely do it again.
