Toledo is a a great city to visit. We did the full day tour. Since there was no traffic, the trip from Madrid to Toledo took only about an hour, another for return. There was barely enough time to see all the highlights of the city. However, the guide was very efficient in showing the most important places. We had lunch in one of the cafes. The lunch break gave us some time to do shopping as well not the case if you buy the full day tour with lunch option. Our only complaint was that the guide spoke Spanish about 80 percent of the time. She spoke English well and explained what we saw but Spanish speakers got more information from her.

The history and art were incredible. We had a very knoweledgeable guide who was keen to answer any questions. The tour was challenging because the guide had to deal with three languages - Spanish, Italian and English. I especially appreciated the way the guide kept everyone in line. Some people had the tendency to start talking as soon as the guide's piece in their language was finished. Our guide put a stop to that, which was highly appreciated. She also walked slowly enough through the streets of Toledo to make it enjoyable rather than an endurance test!
I would suggest that we have more time in Toledo to just wander around. Our guide has promised a stop at marzipan shops - something I had wanted to do since the last time I visited Toledo, but we never got a chance. It also didn't allow us to see other parts of Toledo. But all in all, it was a good day and well done.
Is nice.

This was a great place to visit, but you need to spend the whole day. Half a day is way too short. Our guide was very good, but we missed a great deal.

Good experience, lunch particularly delicious. Worth doing for once.

This was a very good tour. Our group was too small for the driver to take us, but our guide quickly combined us with another group. Our guide was knowledgeable and lively, putting historical events into context. Toledo's streets are like a labyrinth, so it was very helpful to go with a guide.

Excellent tour. Our guide was most competent and knowledgeable. Wish a brief stop at a good ceramics shop were included.

Great! It is a must see. I wish we had more time to look around, eat and shop, but still definitely worth doing. Easy to find tour agency, no problem checking in, and they have English speaking employees.

Took the full day, could have done the half day I think. Lovely city, good guide.

A quick but very interesting view of Toledo. The visit to a jewelery shop is the only negative point.

Absolutely great but would recommend that the tour guide give you a few minutes at the end of each stop to buy gifts etc.

I was on the half day tour and I think it's a great tour if you don't have all day. Toledo is a fantastic city! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Keep in mind the only time you have to shop/use the restroom/grab a snack is towards the end of the tour before heading to Madrid.

We loved our guide and the trip was great. Monday it was tough to find a place to eat, most things closed. Seems part of the group booked some kind of lunch ahead of time, thought everyone should have had the same opportunity. Overall good.

Our guide was very inclusive of the two English speakers and I know just enough Spanish to know if something is dropped. It was a good and relaxing day and we saw the whole town.

We loved Toledo! The tour guide wasn't great. We were told we had admission into the cathedral, but the tour didn't include it. We toured the cathedral on our own in the afternoon. Be sure to do the whole day tour, it will give more time to see Toledo.
