Toledo is a fantastic little town about an hour outside of Madrid. The staff at the travel company were attentive and friendly. The tour is a little frustrating in that there is an awful lot of time on the bus and only about ninety minutes in Toledo itself. The last forty five minutes is spent in an absolute tourist trap of a shop where you are slightly coerced into buying something. Also, the tour is presented in English and Spanish by the same tour leader. The half day tour is plenty. The tour leaves at 3:00 p.m. and gets back about 7:00 p.m. with no meal. Still, I would definitely do it again.

The trip was spectacular, but I would recommend doing the full day trip. Our guide was great, but there was not a lot of time to see everything in just a half day.

My mother and I took the full day tour to Toledo. It is a fascinating city in Spain and one that you should not miss. Our group size was good: not a full bus, which made it more personal and easy to understand and hear the guide as we walked through the city and sites. Our guide was very good and she did thorough explanations in English and Spanish. We had lunch at around 2:00 p.m. At about 3:30, we headed to Damascene shop, which was interesting for all of five minutes, and then souvenir shop for twenty minutes or so. We returned about 6:30 p.m. to Madrid as there was traffic. If you don't want lunch and souvenir shop stop, do the half day without lunch, but you might miss tour inside cathedral, which is stunning and rich in history and art.

Excellent trip to Toledo with a very knowledgeable guide. One criticism, we could have done with an hour to explore Toledo on our own, rather than being dragged to the Damasquinado factory where the shop people were very pushily trying to sell stuff.

I went on the afternoon tour. The tour size was nice and small. The guide's knowledge was excellent, and though the trip ended in a shop that made Toledan jewelry, it wasn't as cheesy as tours can be. You know, all tours end in the gift shop. A worthwhile escape from the city.

The tour was very interesting and well planned. Our guide was efficient and pleasant. It was a worthwhile getaway from Madrid. We would have liked to know the nearest metro stop to the tour operator, to have an easier commute and avoid taking a taxi.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and his English skills were very good. I felt that I was always in capable hands throughout the tour. One caveat: the lunch was a bit odd, as there was no way to know what would be served and there were no alternative choices. That one choice of main dish and soup was out of the question for me, and I was not aware that there would be no alternatives.

Toledo and the works of El Greco were wonderful. This tour offers a comfortable and easy way to see Toledo when you're staying in Madrid and time is limited. Our tour was in both Spanish and English. Our guide was knowledgeable but spoke with a heavy Spanish accent, which made him difficult to understand at times. Lunch was disgusting and wasted valuable time. No one ate it at our table, and it did not include drinks. I would recommending skipping it and using the time to see more of the city.

Our guide was terrific. I would have preferred a slower pace and some free time to wander in Toledo, rather than the tourist-stop lunch. All in all, a pleasant day-trip.

Toledo is magnificent, and our tour director was very knowledgeable. Definitely do this tour if you're in Madrid. I would have liked some time in the Sephardic Museum - we walked right by it. My only complaint is that while they do make pit stops, the tour buses have no bathrooms on board.

This was a great tour. Toledo is a magnificent city definitely worth visiting as a day trip from Madrid. We found it was well worth it to take the tour since it highlights all of the important sights in the town. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and courteous. We were also impressed with the lunch which was included. It seem to surpass everyones expectations and was a good opportunity to get to know the other travelers in your group.

This tour was a quick hitter. We did the afternoon half day tour the same day we arrived. The trip was comfortable and the walking tour was very nice and a good stretching of the legs after being on a plane for 14 hours. The Art of El Greco and Antonio Macho make this trip worth it.
