This was a very unusual, fun event. I don't know how it would be for locals (although their were Spanish tourists or locals attending), but it was a great meal, wonderful singing, and a great end getting you up and out of your seat.
Did not know what to expect when we got there. Prebooking got a fixed menu (two selection (meat or fish) for entree (and any dessert) rest was prefixed. Food was good, no limit on wine! Be prepared to stay the entire time. It says 9pm - 12:15am and it means it. Intimate setting and the waiters and waitresses do the singing (and they are GOOD). Music and singing during the meal and after. If you are in a hurry you miss a lot of the entertainment and fun. If you are in walking distance good idea to go on major streets and walk back as it will settle the food/wine. Also please note that the staff speaking limited english (one waitress spoke good english). We figured out that is was a special place since most of the guests were from Spain!
I have a wonderful night at La Castafiore! The food was very good and the opera performance amazing! They planned the night very well. For a start they do longer breaks between each song, so that people can talk a little bit while enjoying dinner. Towards the end of the night, there's more and more singing, and we ended up all dancing! Great night to remember!
