Gibraltar was a surprise, small but full of history, the caves in the rock are well worth it.

Well worth the early start from Malaga - 7am. Ample time to see most sights, have relaxed lunch and duty free shopping. Thoroughly enjoyed the day out.

Good trip. Could have been even better with a different guide. He didn't help a handicapped man in a wheel chair, which made my company of five feel very uncomfotable

Absolutely fabulous. We took the extra tour of the World War II caves which was the highlight of the tour for us. All guides were very informative. The drive took a long time because of all the pick-ups and drop-offs.

For the price and the convenience of transportation directly to and from Málaga, not the mention the guided tour up the Rock, this trip was definitely worth it. We didn't choose to go on the optional dolphin-watching cruise because dolphins simply aren't abundant at this time of year. A lot of other reviews complained about the amount of time it took to get to/from Gibraltar because of having to stop at each hotel along Costa del Sol, but I thought it wasn't too bad. Besides, it was neat seeing all the cities in between Málaga and Gibraltar, not to mention being able to stay alongside the sea for most of the drive. I am recommending this tour to everyone in my study abroad program.

When I phoned to confirm my booking, I was pleasantly surprised by the news we would be picked up at our hotel. We were collected punctually and thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant drive to Gibraltar, enhanced by some interesting facts from our guide. The Rock itself was awesome, matched only by the enthusiasm and wit of the minibus driver who took us right to the top. We also saw the enthralling caves before having an excellent lunch in a local bar. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and we were one happy couple when we were dropped off at the door of our hotel. A memorable trip and well worth the money.

This trip includes sightseeing of Gibraltar with local guide with a minibus and he was hilarious and extremely entertaining. He spoke English and French. The trip from Malaga to Gibraltar was also good although there was last week change of the starting hour from 8.00 am to 7.00 am. But there was more than two hours free time in Gibraltar which gave us a touch of slowness (given the size of the town) which is often so much needed on such trips.

We took the Gibraltar tour that left from Malaga. The original departure time was listed as 8 am but the instructions do say to call within 24 hours to confirm your reservation. It was good thing I did call because I was told that the new departure time was 7 am! So my wife and I walked to the pickup location - a bit over a half mile from our hotel - and we did leave pretty promptly around 7 am. The downside is that our bus stopped at easily 10, maybe more, hotels along the way (pretty much every beach town along the coast to Gibraltar) so we didn't arrive to Gibraltar until about 11:30. Driving ourselves would probably be somewhere under 3 hours...but, by taking a tour you don't have to hassle with "where do I park?", "how do I get there?", etc. I'm not sure why we had to walk over a 1/2 mile to the pickup zone yet we went right into the heart of all these beach towns and seemed to pick people up right at each of there hotels.
Once at Gibraltar we had from 11:30 - 1:00 on our own to explore the town, main street, grab a snack, etc. At 1:00 we met up with our Gibraltar tour guide (not the bus tour guide) and then in a smaller van he drove about 12 of us around Gibraltar and gave some historical insights and then drove us up higher into the rock itself. Ultimately we parked near St. Michael's cave, visited that, got some nice views across the Straits to see Africa and some other nice views looking down onto the town, and then by 3:00 he drove us back into the main town. We then had from 3:00 to 4:00 on our own before having to be back at the bus to depart. We had some nice scenic views but there was not nearly time to relax and explore the town. In the 3-4 time my wife and I stopped for lunch and that was about it. I'd love to have more time to walk around and explore so my main critique is that if we could get there quicker and have from 11-2 to on our own that would be nice, or maybe from 3-5 before getting back on the bus. We got back at 7:30 pm.

The bus trip from the Malaga pickup location drags a bit with the stops at hotels along the way. The tour bus was comfortable. The small bus tour on Gibraltar was excellent with the gentlemen conducting the tour a real professional, great driver, fluent in many languages, well organized and even though he probably conducted a few thousand tours made each sightseeing event and the general tour as interesting as it could have been. The tour is well worth the time from a sightseeing perspective and is very reasonably priced.

This was a great experience. Our tour guide was gracious and made us all feel relaxed and welcome. I was impressed when we were turned over to a local guide because I felt we got great local exposure. The trips through the narrow streets and standing on Gibraltar was magnificent
