Great one day tour, well organized, deliver as promised
We had a wonderful time
Punctual. Excellent guides both on the coach and in the cathedral. They kept us informed about the places we were passing and paid attention to each participant.
The day trip to Seville was a wonderful experience. We were taken in very comfortable buse along with a tour guide who kept on telling us the history of Seville in great detail. At Seville the walking tour through the old city along with the Cathedral was most enjoyable. Added activities like lunch and the boat trip just added to the whole experience.
Stop at the spanish pavilion was too short considering it is the cover for this tour. LOCAL guide was NOT good in her time management....washroom stop in the small courtyard was TOOOOO LOOOONG, wasted time, it was even longer than the time spent in the spanish pavillion??Some might prefer to spend free time after the cathedral tour and I wish I had not joined the optional river cruise and instead just explored more on our own. Instructions for the meeting place for the bus SHOULD HAVE been given more clearly after the cathedral tour instead of leading everyone to the restaurant which not everybody was booked to have lunch in. Otherwise it was good.
Wasn't worth the time, too long of a trip, too few sites, then it was suggested to take a river cruise, extra $15. and it was worthless. The tour guide at the cathedral hardly spoke English. She spent 90% of her time speaking every other language but English.
The multi language was distracting, two only would be acceptable. The bus guide appeared to be under a great strain trying to organise the group however I enjoyed the guide in Seville she was excellent, also the boat trip was worth doing.
Quite good, but a little too long in cathedral. Would like to have seen more of town centre. Shops were closed, which was disappointing.
20 minutes late setting off and 3 hour journey to Seville, with 20 minute refreshment stop. Driver, Miguel, was excellent, a very smooth journey. Guide Annabel spoke 5 languages, all very clear and informative, but repetitive. Local guide in Seville (Maria) was hopeless, impatient and unnecessary.
Would have liked to see more of the city. next time will explore on my own. Tour guide was nice.
This was a very good trip except for the optional boat trip in Seville where you could not hear any commentary at all. I would have preferred to have had that time in Seville seeing a little more to balance out the Jewish Quarter Tour Expo and the Cathedral. However it was overall very worthwhile with good bus service and guides.
Bus was late and no apology. Too many people for one local guide. Couldn't hear guides. Not enough time in places of real interest. This was our last organised trip and not up to standard of previous two.
What a disappointing day from the beginning! The bus was half an hour late. Our guide miss-counted when we left the stop-off point for morning tea and we had to return for two persons, another half an hour gone. Our guide intially was informative and funny but his sexual inuendos and lengthy narration on muslims in spain became somewhat tiresome. Because we were an hour late we got 20 minutes at the Pavillion and a 40 minute tour of the Cathedral. Our guide for the Pavillion and Cathedral was obviously annoyed but did her best to show us around as quickly as possible. Prior to the tour of the Pavillion our day guide suggested that there was nothing for tourists to do after 2pm as everything would be closed and instead tried to sell a river boat cruise. There is plenty to do and see in Sevilla and the Palace was open for visitors even though he specifically said it wouldn´t be. Had the best tapas I have had in Spain at ´Pimenton´ on G.DE VINUESA. We were told to be ready for the bus for 4pm, so gave-up sight seeing of city centre to get to meeting point on time only to have to wait 30 minutes for the bus. (Two people had decided to take the river cruise and it had run over time)
This tour is actually 11-12 hours, but we really did not get to see much of Seville. A Plaza, the Cathedral and a little free time ande that's it! It was very rushed. We thought we would get to see a lot from the boat ride on the river and that turned out to be a waste of what little free time we had as you got to see very little from the boat.
