Very well run tour. So much to see and tour guides were very knowledgeable.
This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Spain. The timing of the tour and the free time in the city of Granada perfect. Our on site guide Oscar was wonderful. He had an easy going personality, paced the tour as such to allow time for both questions and photos and was very knowledgeable about the fascinating history of the Alhambra. I can't imagine doing a site of this magnitude and historical breath with only an audio-guide. You would probably leave with more questions than answers.
Overall, this day trip went really well. Since we were based in Malaga, we were the last to be picked up and didn't have to ride the bus all day. Our guide was very friendly and personal and told us lots of interesting facts while we were driving there. At the Alhambra, our guide was also very friendly and knowledgeable. She had been a guide for fourteen years and was from Granada so you could tell she was emotionally connected. It was a great trip and an easy way to see an incredible part of Spanish history.
The whole booking process and subsequent trip were fantastic. Everything went smoothly and we had all the information we needed.
Well done, comprehensive overview and with both large and minibus legs, comprehensive. Only minor negative is that bus missed a stop listed on the map, requiring a long, but worthwhile, walk back across the river.
If I could only do one tour in Spain it would be this one! Excellent site and the guides were especially effective both with content and delivery. They gave great info on the effects of historical events and an especially insightful view on the cultural interchanges among the various factions.
Absolutely stunning, it was a long walk (3 hours) through the Al Hamra Palace but it was definitely worth it as you could appreciate the true beauty and ingenious architecture and infrastructure, the tour guide within the Al Hamra was fantastic and very learned, he was attentive and professional at all times.
The main tour guide seemed a little mad and his jokes weren't always tasteful however I believe that's his weird way of entertaining the tourists. The stop off in Granada was for an hour, there was a halal Turkish restaurant available which was great. This followed with a 45 minute walk around the Granada streets which was alright but not the best as I believe better areas could've been shown.
Overall I truly loved the trip and would go again.
