Very nice tour of an interesting place. The tour was well-run and -led. The only thing I didn't like about the booking is that they tell you that you MUST call in within a few days before the tour to confirm. That was inconvenient for us, although we did comply. If we've already paid, I don't know why we need to reconfirm and if it's not absolutely necessary, they shouldn't say it is.
Guides were excellent. Depth of knowledge about the site excellent. English - and the ease of moving between 4 languages in one case and 2 in the other - was impressive. We would have liked a little more time in the gardens to look about and take pictures, but otherwise the pace was good.
My wife and I are very satisfied With the Granada Day Trip from Malaga.
But the information of the bus stop in Malaga was a little confusing. The information said bus stop vis-a-vis El Corte near Caixa. For me the term vis-a-vis means on the opposite side of Av. de Alndalucia and as I fond a bus stop for bus no. 10 and there wer a sign With Caixa on the nearest house we met at this bus stop withous knowing this was wrong place. Luckily we could see the bus on the oppocite side of the street at eight o-clock and hurried over the street to catch the bus.
Maybe You could write the instruction in a little differnt way?
A great tour a lot of walking but if you want to know about history this is a wonderful tour. Our Guide was great I can not remember her name but she was wonderful.
Well-organised tour, with time to explore Granada, before visiting the Alhambra palaces and gardens. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and was enthusiastic about her subject!
Great day out - would recommend to friends and family.
The tour is excellent. The guide Annabel was very friendly and knowledgeable. The place is a beautiful place to visit. My only problem is that the place is too big and it is very tiring to walk 4 km in 3 hours.
Our guide on the bus, Paco, was excellent and gave us a lot of information about Andalucia, Spanish history and what we would expect to see in Alhambra. Our guide in Alhambra was good, but we were mixed with a German group, and it took to much time doing two languages. Alhambra is really worth seeing.
This trip should be on everyone's list of things to see in the Costa Del Sol of Spain. The transportation and guide were excellent! The tour was done by an English speaking guide who was very knowledgeable about Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens. I will recommend this trip to all my friends and family.
Nice and well organised day trip to Granada.
Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens are very pretty and rich in history.
A great trip with very good guide. Don't bother with the train as it is a bit of a waste of time. Just do a walk around the city by yourself
Excellent trip with the local tour company and visiti Alhambra. the guide inside the palace was very knowledgeable and gave us good information on the architecture and history. It was fun experience over all.
Guide was very good. Great trip. Totally recommend it
1) The pick up spot was not clear - there is no Barclays Bank in malaga
2) some more time in Granada
Our tour leader, Annabelle, was great at getting us all to where we needed to be. The tour guide in the Alhambra, Joseph, had an incredible knowledge of the place and made sure we got pictures from every site during the 4 hour tour. He was so kind and made us realize the incredible knowledge of the people who built the sultan's palace. The patterns and craftsmanship in the whole building are unbelievable. We just wished the King hadn't removed one to build his palace. He never came back after his long honeymoon.
Visit to Al Hambra was memorable.
I was very disappointed that despite paying for a sightseeing tour by train the tour guide was unable to provide us that opportunity. Effectively we paid for a service that we did not receive
An excellent day trip. Informative guides, both on the coach and at the Alhambra Palace and gardens. If I had a criticism it would be over the number of times we had coach stops. One on the way to Granada, one in Granada before we visited the Alhambra Palace and a further stop in Granada after the visit to the Alhambra. We also had a short stop on the way beack from Granada to Malaga.
It had been our dream to someday see the Alhambra Palace and that was fully met. The guides were great and we were captivated by the beautiful gardens, water features, and intricate stonework. We also enjoyed walking around the old city and enjoying some pastry and shopping. One suggestion though is to provide everyone with maps of the central city. Also, we did not understand until after the trip that Ferdinand and Isabella are buried in a chapel in Granada. Either our guide didn't mention that or we missed hearing it.
Great tour. Pick up in Malaga is easy if you stand right on the corner of the bank near bus stop 11 and look for the Julia bus. It stops at the corner not actually at the bus stop itself. However you can see it rounding the plaza. There is no guide waiting. When the bus arrives guide gets off.
Exceeded our expectations. A fascinating tour and a do not miss while traveling through Andalusia.
Excellent trip and very good guides. Your Malaga pick up point could be improved!!
We organized and the tour director very managable. Got to see almost everything ayt the palace. Would definitely recommend.
