We been to Malaga in March , so the weather was perfect and there were no crowds in restaurants or beach or other historic places unlike in summer. Our tour guide was very friendly and had good knowledge of places around.
Must to take tour for first timers in Malaga, which gives you a good idea about the whole place .
Excellent service by the tour guide, Sana. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She made everyone feel at ease. Very attentive as well.
Great tour ! Nice and easy pace - so much to see - great guides who really look after you.
We arrived by cruise ship, and walked up yo the meeting point. So easy. Charlotte our guide was excellent- friendly, perfect English, and knowledgable. We cycled in such interesting areas around the city, then enjoyed a longer cycle along the beach front before relaxing over a drink at beach front bar.
Best way to have a taste of a city
Kay was the best!!! So lively and she knew everything about Malaga. Tour couldn't have been better than it was.
Our tour wa fantastic. The bike ride was flat and coveredthe downtown area as well as the beach area. Lizzie, our tour guide was enthusiastic, informative and clearly in love with her city. The 4hour tour was a great value - it included a stop in a beachside cafe. We were not limited on what beverage we could have. It gave the tour members a chance to interact with each other and to get to know Lizzie. During our tour, two other members joined us after they were stood up by another biking tour co. The owner of Malaga Bike Tours escorted them to our tour only after bringing them first to the sites we had already covered. That was extremely impressive. The tour was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the area in a find and informative way. We were able to experience sites that are frequented by tourists and locals. This is a must do. The staff and company are excellent. An unexpected surprise were the pictures taken by Lizzie of our group and the emailing of those pics to all of us! What a great little bonus...a very personalized feature to a small, intimate tour. Lastly, we asked for lunch recommendations and Lizzie pointd out one of her favourite tapas places and later gave us a book with restaurant recommendations. A group of us went off to find Lizzie's place. It was local, delicious and a great value. The companionship of our tour buddies made the placeeven better. Thank you Lizzie and Malaga Bike Tours !!!!
Best way to discover Malaga in a short and effective way. Highly recommend it to everybody visiting Malaga!
This was the best tour of the ten we took on this vacation. Kay made it an education and it was great getting really close and involved with the stops we made. The city was flatter than I first thought when I saw it and the riding was easier than I expected so it would be great for many ages. I don't think I'd take young children as there is a lot of riding around walkers so you have to stay on your toes, but then you get to stop, the guide tells you all about the location and then you move along. FUN TIME!
Excellent all the way! Led by the wonderfully friendly and extremely knowledgable Kay! Ideal way to start to an exploration of this fascinating and beautiful city. Highly recommend it!
The group enjoyed the bicycling tour and the guide we had was very experienced, friendly and helpful! A perfect introduction to Malaga city!
the tour was great fun. the guides were informative and the ride itself was easy and enjoyable. watch out for the slippery marble.
we even had the opportunity to swim at the beach!
-knowledgeable and friendly tour guide
-Good quality, well maintained bikes
-experienced a flat tire and the bike was promptly replaced
-Group size was too large (15+ people)
-Large parts of of the tour (around the first half) was in and around the crowded streets of Malaga town centre which was unsuitable for cycling in due to the crowds of pedestrians and in some instances was a little dangerous.
-Helmets were only made mandatory for children and not all the group
Note from Viator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. According to the Spanish law, helmets are only compulsory for 16-year old and under, so although the local operator offers them to all customers they are only mandatory for those of 16 and under. With reference to the group size, this tour normally operates on a maximum of 10 pax but due to a last-minute illness of one of the tour guides, the company had to combine 2 groups. The local operator is working to prevent this type of changes as much as possible.
