Quite an overwhelming experience. But a fun one. Encredibly cultural. They take you to places you would never have gone by yourself. So you can really experience the culture deep inside. Absolutely loved morocco. Inspired me to do more travelling around the country.
Excellent tour and glimpse of Morocco. Our tours guides were fantastic, wonderful, and knowledgeable.
Great tour, the guides were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this tour, well worth the money!
Glad we went with a tour guide. The fee for the tour was cheaper than if we had tried to purchase ferry tickets to Morocco by themselves. That's right, the bus ride to the ferry, the bus tour of the city, the walking tour of the Casbah, lunch, and the product lectures were free!
Ok, the tour itself was fun but be prepared to have the beggars and the hawkers dog your steps every step of the way. It is hard to turn away from such great need but there are so many of them. For two euros we rode camels in a parking lot, really more of a photo op, but fun nevertheless. We saw a snake charmer. The lunch was quite good. The product lectures were of course followed by a sales pitch. We learned about carpets and then could buy carpets, leather goods, scarfs, and assorted crafts. We also learned about various spices, unguents, ointments, and perfumes. I was surprised at the number of people who bought things. We did buy a scarf for my Mom since Christmas was coming. All in all, it was very interesting and I'm very glad we did this tour.
The best deal. Bus, Ferry and Lunch for under 100.
Guides were great.
Enjoyed the tour very much! It's an experience that everyone should have!
After a 43 euro taxi fare to the meeting place, the tour bus picked up passengers at my hotel! No indication that it could be done!
Absolutely loved this tour! I felt like we got to see so much of Tangier and were able to enjoy the culture- all while feeling extremely safe. It was a long day so I recommend bringing snacks and lots of water! We were picked up in Malaga and we ended up being in the bus about 1.5 longer there and back so keep that in mind if you're leaving from Malaga. The tour guides were great, and the sights were beautiful. Would definitely recommend this trip to a friend.
We had a wonderful day! We were very excited that Paco was our guide we had him on an other trip and he is great lots of fun very knowledgeable. The day was very informative and we learned a lot of the poor conditions of the City of Tangier. I think it could have been cut a little short if we did not have to go the rug and oil place it was not bad we like visiting the stores but would have liked to walk around with out the sales pitches. But all and all a wonderful day. Again we loved Paco.
Had a fantastic trip
Tour guide in Morocco was very impressive and knowledgeable
very happy with Julian travel the tour company that was used the guides were excellent they came to the resort picked us up and dropped us off which was great The tour was very good which included lunch it is well worth seeing would do it again. worst thing is the Vendors is Tangers.
It's hard to describe the experience during this tour... When crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, seen the Atlantic Ocean in one side, the Mediterranean sea on the other, Spain/Europe in the back and Morocco/Africa in front of you.... It's jus amazing....The tour guide in Tangier was great!
It was a well done tour. A little rushed with everything to see in a relatively short amount of time. The tour operators and guides were great, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth it.
If you are looking for a day trip to Morocco from Spain, book this tour! They are punctual, knowledgable, and both of our guides, Janette and Hassan, were terrific. One thing you need to be aware of (which we were) is that the boat to Morocco leaves Tarifa at noon. The morning is basically reserved for pick ups along the coast, which we understood. Once in Morocco, the tour was great. I would not call it authentic, but it does give you a flavor of Africa. Hope to get Hassan because he great, very informative. One thing I would mention to the tour company is it would be a good idea to provide water to the participants. It was a long day, and that would have really helped.
Hotel Trebol is in the center of every place you could go.It is safe even you walk out at 5:00 A.M.Hotel staff are accomodating, room is clean.Internet is available. No English channel on your t.v.Bring your small iron to press up your wrinkled clothes for they do not provide. No available laundtymat
The tour guide Jeanette and the driver were very good and made a good team. This was a fun trip, the tour guide in Tangier was also very good. Excellent organization. Good tour of Tangier in the given time frame. Highly recommend.
It was very well organized tour. Our guide Pedro was amazing. He took care of everything and every one in the group. He was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The guide form Morocco (Hasan) was very nice and impressive.
The whole tour was perfect!!
This tour was amazing! Both Pedro and Hassan were great.wish the tour was a bit longer and had time to go see the cave of Hercules but we did the 1day tour. However great experience. *Beware of the sellers in the market they are very persistent when it comes to selling. I would use them again!
Pedro from Julia travel was very professional as was Hasan in Tangier. Only thing our party did not like was that we were taken to a "store" where we felt we were badgerd too much to purchase.Albeit the items were beautiful but too expensive, they did get me for a necklace but my husband was able to get the price down to something that he was willing to pay! My daughter wished to get inexpensive souvenirs and ended up going off on her own to shop in the Bazar whilst the second stop was made at the Herbalist.
