My adult son and I were the only ones on this night! We had a private belly dance show and band! The food was way too generous- tip, only eat a half or quarter of what you're given! There's 5-6 courses! We both were invited by the belly dancer to dance with her, so you can imagine we had a fun night
good but no drinks they give with the voutcher
they sell the drinks to expansive :/
I went to the Palais Arabe Restaurant.
The foor was very good and the musicians were very nice.
But there was no live dancing and the restaurant seemed abandoned, I was the only customer that night.
Palais Arabe two thirds empty and difficult to find. Toilets basic and poorly maintained. Good food, well presented but possible cause of stomach upset in two of our group. Entertainment adequate but only about the same in provided free in any 4 star hotel.
Kind of a weird situation... we were the only ones there for most of the evening but 3 musicians still played for us which was nice. The food was decent, a dancer came out with candles on her head but I got the feeling all the performers were expecting plenty of tips. Way too expensive for what we got. Plus the "palace" was receiving some renovations so one of the walls consisted of plastic wrap which didn't make a good backdrop for pictures.
This was not a show. It was dinner with some music (3 guys playing instruments) and one belly dancer. The belly dancer walked from table to table, and gave an okay performance. We were expecting a real SHOW to take place on the dance floor, but that was not what we got. The food was good, and the musicians were entertaining; however it was not as advertised, and not worth the price.
