Does what it says, "Discovery Tour", I feel the information given about the Tour should have emphasised that there is an awful lot of walking. Guide was very knowledgeable and if you like architecture then it is very good. Excellent traditional lunch. Two half day tours would have been less tiring.

A very full and quite tiring day with an excellent guide. He knew his way through the souks, where it would be very easy to get lost, so that we saw a lot of things you would miss if you were on your own. He gave a very good explanation of the tombs and the palace. Excellent Moroccan lunch.

A good way to see the main sights of Marrakesh in one day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. There's a lot of walking to be done (most of it is post lunch), so come prepared wearning comfortable shoes.

A good way to start the contact with Medina and its souks and people. It is calm enough and guides are really helpful and we feel that take care about us and we never get lost thanks to their attention. Next day it is really easy to walk trough Medina and Marrakesh.

Our tour guide was Abdul who was very nice and funny throughout the tour. He took us to all the main locations in Marrakech which we tried to find on the first day but failed. It is also safer to have a guide around Marrakech because it can be a bit scary walking around as locals will approach you begging form money or helping you out just to find out that they drag you to their shop. Highly reccomend having a guide for the tour. Lunch was not great as they took us to a very touristy place. One negative point I might add was that it felt like the guide was trying to preach Islam too much to us and I am a Muslim, so I really did not need him trying to prove points that maybe Western audience would be more interested in.

Great opportunity to see Marrakech and learn about the city. Interesting tour and good introduction to the city.

This was a great tour for three reasons. Firstly you could see everything in one day, secondly the lunch was fantastic and lastly guides were extremely knowledgeable. A word of caution doing this in the Sumer is obviously more taxing (we did at 45deg) and not recommended with kids

This was a great way to view the main tourist spots of the city of Marrakech. There were variety and lots of stories that added to my knowledge of the city. I would have preferred a less "touristy" feel, but it's inevitable with groups of this size.

A good tour visiting some areas we would'nt have seen by ourselves. Lunch excellent in interesting restaurant. The group managed to stay together which was quite something cosidering the number of people and the chaotic area we were vsiting!. The guide spoke excellent English and was really very good but seemed to rather lose his grip of things after the totally unnecessary and much too long visit to a pharmacy type place....All in all we enjoyed the tour with the exception of the" oils " which as I said was far too long and really intensly boring in our opinion and many others we spoke to.

Overall the tour was very good. We were spit into an English group and French group. The English group was smaller, which was good and the guide was very knowledgable. You see just about everything there is to see Marrakesh, and its not just the same things over and over, i found the day very interesting. The lunch was good too! We were there 4 days and this was the best thing we did.

We found the tour to be informative and enjoyed the chief tour guide and his sense of humor. There is certainly a great amout of time walking and/or standing, so it is not for everyone. The one disappointment was the visit to the carpet cooperative where the high pressure sales methods were not appropriate for a city tour. Overall, worth the money.

Good day viewing the most important sites Marrakech has to offer. Guiding good. Transport very efficient. Lunch was very good and the restaurant very clean.

A good tour and a knowledgeable guide; however the carpet making demonstration turned out to be no info or demonstration on how carpets are made - just a shop selling rugs which are a big expensive purchase for most people.

Me and my group of friends decided to take a weekend trip to Marrakech will visiting a friend in Rome. The Discovery Tour was a GREAT addition to our weekend in Medina.
There were so many elements to the tour that definitely enhanced our expeienced. The tour guide was full of information and we explored the entire world of Marrakech in a wonderful 9 hour trip.
The accomodations included a relaxing coach style bus and an amazing Moroccan lunch.
I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Marrakech because there is a number of things that I learned about the culture and the history on this tour that I would not have known otherwise.
Be prepared for a lot of walking, bring water, small bag, camera and comfortable shoes.
*not apart of the tour* but i think everyone should visit the Hammam spa in addition to this tour!!
Enjoy!!
