Me and my group of friends decided to take a weekend trip to Marrakech will visiting a friend in Rome. The Discovery Tour was a GREAT addition to our weekend in Medina.
There were so many elements to the tour that definitely enhanced our expeienced. The tour guide was full of information and we explored the entire world of Marrakech in a wonderful 9 hour trip.
The accomodations included a relaxing coach style bus and an amazing Moroccan lunch.
I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Marrakech because there is a number of things that I learned about the culture and the history on this tour that I would not have known otherwise.
Be prepared for a lot of walking, bring water, small bag, camera and comfortable shoes.
*not apart of the tour* but i think everyone should visit the Hammam spa in addition to this tour!!
Enjoy!!

We were first time visitors to Marrakech so decided on a Discovery Tour. Have used Viator in the past in other countries and were always satisfied. This is a really good way to see some of the major points of interest in Marrakech. There were only 8 people in our group (4 x English and 4 x Germans) which made it much better. The tour guide was excellent. Enjoyed a good lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant. As with any guided tour, you can see the sights yourself but a guide gives full information which makes it much more interesting. The Tour ends up in the souk - and you do really get to go deep into the souk. No time for shopping (fortunately!) but you do get to see a lot. Thoroughly recommended.

Our guide was great, and kept us highly informed. We had the opportunity to see very interesting sights in the city, and the pace was perfect. The food served at lunch was delicious. I disliked immensely, however, that a man in the office accessed our hotel number, and rang myself and my female friend at 10pm that night to ask us out for drinks. Highly inappropriate, unsolicited, and unwelcome.

Lots of walking and sometimes hard to keep whole group together esp through narrow souks. Too much to see in 1 day. Guide was rubbish! Loved the sound of his own voice and kept every1 listening to him talk about irrelevant things whilst at the sites instead of allowing time to explore/take pictures.
