What You Can Expect
The exact route may vary, but perhaps head to the renowned La Mamounia hotel to marvel at the splendor of its marble walkways and manicured gardens. Then listen out for Koutoubia Mosque’s daily call to prayer and follow to its source — this impressive 12th-century mosque is the largest in Marrakech and definitely one of its must-see monuments.
Delve past the ancient city walls to Marrakech Old Town and soak up the atmosphere of the main city square, Djemaa El Fna. Built in the 12th century and now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this vibrant market plaza pulses with captivating history. Nearby, glide through Jardin el Harti, a quiet botanical garden away from the city buzz.
Continue to the Gueliz district, considered the heart of modern Marrakech. Witness a comparison between Marrakech Old Town's ancient feel with Gueliz's contemporary collection of chic cafés, restaurants and shops.
After 1.5 hours of discovering Marrakech by Segway, your tour concludes back at the start point.
Spent the most amazing 2 hrs with our brilliant guide Siad. He was such good fun helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was patient whilst we learnt how to ride the Segway and once out and about he was very caring and always looking out for our safety. He took some amazing photo's of us that would not of been possible for us to do. I cant thank you enough Siad, we had the best time and memories. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see Marrakesh in its true form. The places you see and visit are not always possible on foot and with such a knowledgeable guide it truly made our trip amazing. I wish we could have had them for the whole day, they are brilliant value for money and good for the old weary feet :o Book it, you wont be sorry, they very easy to ride. Siad, you an asset to this company and should be paid accordingly!
Loved this 2 person tour with our guide. Fun, plenty of stops and information, a great few hours!
Excellent way to quickly see the city. Easy to use. Fun going thru the narrow market lanes. Just 2 of us over 60s with the guide. WE did it the first day to see what we wanted to return to later.
We booked the 9am tour for our first full day in Marrakech as we hoped it would help us get our bearings whilst being a lot of fun. This turned out to be a great decision on both counts. Our Gide Rashid was excellent and gave us a memorable experience. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour and even better guide. It was nice to be able to see the old and new Marrakech without being husstled. Trip is in small groups that makes it much easier. I have done Segway in Paris and Rome and this easily lives up to the expectations. Would highly recommend.
An amazing way to explore Marrakech! Would love to do it again!
Had a fantastic time
I was amazed how far we went and how much we saw.
Really good fun and a great way to see the city without getting hassled.
This trip was great fun although crossing the busy roads of Marrakech is an experience!. One word of advice is that the meeting place was outside the Sofitel which in my experience of meeting points for tours, are outside the grounds of the hotel. After arriving half an hour early for the trip, the time of the trip came and went, so I was just about to ask the Sofitel if I could use their phone to call the Segway company, when right outside the entrance to the Sofitel, there were Segways lined up and the guide waiting! I would have thought that common sense would have prevailed with the guide and if his customers had not turned up on time, he would have at least walked a hundred yards to look outside the entrance.
Good way to see the city. Was only 60 mins long. Tour guide was literally there to show you the way not provide any historical info which was a shame.
