An excellent trip thoroughly recommended. You learn an awful lot about the country and see beautiful scenery. The Berber meal was nice but you are not with the family as indicated, its you the guide and other gusts on a roof of a house in a village with fabulous views. The lake was a dissapointment as we couldnt get anywhere near it - we were told it was because the level was too low - but a jet skier was on the lake so why were we not allowed to get closer?
Anyway the trip was still great and I recommend it.
Great day out, away from the bustle of Marrakech, seeing some of the beautiful Atlas mountains and enjoying a delicious lunch in a local home. Interesting stop off points, a very informative guide, comfortable vehicle, fantastic scenery, all very enjoyable and good value. Just the right duration too.
We booked online for the three valleys day trip from Marrakesh. The car and tour guide, whose name is Chakib and is absolutely fantastic (he speaks both English and French perfectly) picked us up from our hotel. We had a small group of 5 which made it perfect for activities like riding camels and going up to the waterfalls. We visited the three valleys and also specific Berber houses and our tour guide also arranged that we take lunch in a beautiful berber house somewhere up the mountain where the women cooked only for us. The entire experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Marrakesh. A lot of thanks to our tour guide who has also been Amazing!!!

This is a really fantastic tour of the Atlas Mountain Valleys. The guide was very friendly and informative. The scenery was breathtaking. The guide would make several stops so we could take photos. The hike to see the waterfall was fun…my advice is to wear good hiking shoes or tennis shoes cause there are some slippery rocks but well worth the trek in my opinion. The highlight of the tour for me was the authentic Moroccan lunch made in a Berber house by a local Berber woman. It was fantastic. We sat at a table on the balcony (top of the house) with amazing views of the mountains. My 3 children ages 8, 10 and 12 also enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended!!
This was our first trip to Morocco and our first full day there. The tour was a day well spent learning something as to the history and cultures of the country. The three valleys are very different to plain that Marrakech sits on; the scenery is excellent, especially with the snow on the Atlas Mountains. If you do the waterfall walk, make sure that you take some substantial footwear with you and be aware that the Argan oil products offered can be bought for a fraction of the price in the souks or Marrakech. Our guide was helpful and informative. It was a full day and we would recommend it.
Our travel guide, Chakib, was a very pleasant well spoken and professional person. We had a lovely time. We met a couple from Spain who travelled with us and were very good company. The day went by too rapidly. Everything we did was just awesome, it was a pleasant change from the culture shock we encountered upon arrival into Marrakech. The valleys, lake and plateau, the entire region was just spectacular. The lunch at the roof top of the Berber house under the blazing sun and surrounded by Berber quiet presence, the Atlas....in the company of the two Spaniards (well, one of them hails from Netherlands actually but lives in Spain) , cannot be described adequately...it was quaint, intoxicating, mesmerising.........surreal....aaahhhh, not so easy to describe.
We had a great tour. We really saw a lot of different landscapes during the day. The guide was very good and took us to a berber home for lunch, which was a great experience.
Enjoyed a wonderful day in the three valleys. Chakib our driver was excellent very informative and relaxed. Highlights were trek to waterfalls and lunch at Berber village. Lunch was outstanding and sun and views were breathtaking. Highly recommended. Great fun.
Many interesting elements in this day. The driver/guide was well prepared and a nice person.
We would definatly recommend this tour if you want to see a differnt side to morroco. From the time we were picked up till the time we were dropped back at our hotel we recieved 5 star service, the driver-tour guide was very proffesional, and informative through out our whole journey.I would suggest that you prepare your self for a bit of climping and walking so were a cumfy pair of shoes also the extra 7 euro's per person for lunch is a must as the views from the roof and the service and food are amazing.
I would deffentaly be using vitor tour in the future

It was an excellent day trip, definitely worth doing whilst in Marrakech. We travelled with a 3 year old and were pleasantly surprised as Shakid, our driver and guide, had arranged a car seat which wasn't done of any other tours. There was another couple who travelled with us in the SUV.
We had a trek to the waterfalls in Ourika valley and our guide there, Omar, was very helpful. He helped us with our son and even carried him on his shoulders. It is around a 30 minute trek and not for people with arthritis or mobility problems.
There was an option to do the camel ride but we skipped it as our son was asleep.
The highlight of the trip was the lunch in the berber house. It was an idyllic location with the view of the valleys. We felt as if we were having lunch in the Grand Canyon. We then drove past the Takerkoust Lake and Kik Plateau with a photo stop with the lake in the background.
I would definitely recommend doing this trip.
This was a brilliant trip out of Marrakech and into the beautiful Atlas mountains. It was great to have a break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and each valley we visited felt very different. The walk up to the waterfall at Ourika Valley was definitely worth the climb and the views from the top are great. The highlight was the delicious lunch in a Berber village. It was lovely to be away from other tourists and the view was spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour.
Driver was great to talk with on this long trip ... and it is long! This is really an all-day adventure. The scenery was fantastic with wonderful views of the Atlas Mountains and the uplands. The walking tour was awesome, but you need to be reasonably fit. This part of the trip is not recommended for older folk. The views after the climb were worth it! The Berber people do not run on Western time so you need to be a bit patient at times. Expect to find mountain folk trying to hawk their wares to you even in the most unlikely of places. The views from the roads as we wound our way up were extraordinary. I thought our lunch was delicious, but it was served after four o'clock by which time I and the three others in my group were starving. I recommend the excursion to Lake Takerkoust and the Kik Plateau for the views and for the sundown. Just remember to plan for a long day!
