Great experience! We recommend it to everyone who comes to visit Marrakech.
The tour was a amazing, the views where great, we were only 4 in a van so it was simple and comfortable. The lake was somehow disappointing but it and #39;s ok.
Excellent trip, excellent guide, excellent meal at the Berber village.
This is an excellent day trip which allows you experience a fascinating area with beautiful scenery. The pre-departure arrangements were very well handled. Our guide, Mustaffa, was good humored, arrived at our hotel on time and navigated us comfortably around the Three Valleys. Nothing was too much trouble and he provided a very interesting commentary throughout. The trip is extremely varied and there are numerous highlights scenery/waterfalls/argan oil production/many photographic opportunities etc. It is also an excellent insight into Berber life and the optional lunch at the Berber home was delicious and a unique way to relax during the trip - a highlight. Having read reviews in advance, we took good footwear and comfortable clothing for the hike to the waterfalls and this is a must. The additional guide waiting for us at the waterfalls was friendly and helpful. While this is a full day, it is very rewarding and something that should not to be missed as it adds a whole new dimension to a stay in Marrakesh.
This is a must trip!! the views are so breath taking and getting outside the city to the outskirts is highly recommended. there is a chance to talk to local people and taste the food too. Also buy local goods and affordable prices after huggling. the tour guide was very good because it was a small group of us, more time was spent in places. the meal in the mountains at the imam's house was beautiful and very hospitable. I would really recommend it.
fantastic scenery, informative guide lovely meal with Berber family.
Absolutely fantastic trip... we were picked up directly from the hotel, and explored the mountains. The guide was awesome, he took the time to talk to us about the history of the towns and of his people. Would definitely recommend.
I went on this trip on 21st November and it was the highlight of my stay in Marrakech. The itenerary was perfect as we visited the first valley before all the other tourists groups arrived. Then we headed for the much quieter valleys with even better views. The meal prepared by the Berber family was very nice and we enjoyed it with spectacular views of the valley. Our guide Shakib spoke excellent English unlike another city tour I joined with a guide I struggled to understand sometimes and had a sincere and easygoing attitude. We stopped at a village shop but the young man made sure we did not feel pressured to buy anything if we were not interested. I would like to thank our guide for making the tour such a comfortable and pleasant journey. Worth every penny.
Enjoyed this tour with our guide Chakeb sp?. The hike up to see the waterfall was a workout but with proper shoe wear it can be done. My kids ages 10 and 13 made it to the top. You can get great views up along the drive. Our lunch was incredible and so fulfilling at the Berber home and we felt very welcomed! Food just kept coming.
I just want to take a moment to talk about our tour guide. We were traveling with kiddos and my daughter happened to get sick 15 minutes into our tour with vomiting. Our guide went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter by stopping the car when she needed to vomit. The guide never once complained nor I felt that he didn't want us there. He simply understood that these type of things happen with kids. Thank you again for everything! Would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a great day and a lovely experience with our skilled guide and driver Abdul. He took us to beautiful places in the valleys. We do recommend the tour which is very complete and our guide/driver if you want a unique experience.
Best tour we have ever done. Scenery was spectacular. Lunch at the Berber home was delicious - best food we have eaten on our 6 week holiday in Europe and good value for money. Morocco attractive tours were very organised and our tour guide Abdul was exceptional. Abdul personalised the day giving us a real insight into life in Morocco - he was highly professional, an excellent driver and having grown up in one of the valleys really knew the area. Again the best tour guide we have experienced anywhere. One thing to note is you need proper shoes for the walk to the waterfall.
Absolutely fantastic! A must do! Despite a very early start we had a wonderful trip. The first valley we trekked up to a beautiful wonderful and because we got up early we had it all to ourselves. The trek is quite a workout and really recommend trainers or something. The lunch was the best food we had all week and ladies make sure that you're wearing long trousers as a sign of respect. The whole day was fantastic and gave a completely different view of Moroccan life as well as trying prickly pears! Brilliant brilliant brilliant!
Fantastic multilingual guide made the trip worthwhile. Many excellent stops including a one hour or so waterfall in ourika. Challenging but worth the effort. Excellent lunch (bit pricey) and stop at an Argan oil workshop to try the real deal freshly made.
Amazing views, very different from valley to valley and fresh air. The guide shaqib was superb and the lunch at the Berbers place was the best meal i actually had in morocco. Indeed highly recommended day out!!
This is probably one of the best tours to do. The communication prior to the trip was excellent, pick up time and place well in advance. Our guide Mustaffa was an extremely nice and well informed man. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out if his way to show, stop and explained every point of interest. The lunch in the local home was great tasty and plentiful. All in all a fantastic day. Thank you.
A fascinating trip, with an excellent private tour guide, through three varied and striking landscapes. Our guide/driver Abdul was brilliant: friendly, knowledgable, spoke excellent English, drove safely, and gave us loads of information on the life and geography of the mountains and their place in the history of Marrakesh. He also taught us how to say no to local salespeople! Highly recommended for couples or small groups who want a more personal and friendly way of learning about the life and landscape of the mountains, meeting local people, and eating home-made Berber food.
Highly recommended, a complete difference to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech city life and the views were exceptional beautiful, unforgettable. Especially the special moment for lunch at the local village with the backdrop of tranquility of the mountains. Also the best highlight to Morocco. Just amazing. Be prepare for some hardcore climbing to the Ourika fall, you definitely need suitable footwear for this as climbing can be quite dangerous, steep mountain climbing. Otherwise, it's the perfect
Beautiful day out, highly recommended to make the most of your trip to Marrakech
Absolutely fantastic tour, with amazing scenery. Great communications from the company who run the day too. Tour guide is fantastic as is the wonderful lunch. Just so you're aware...you will need to wear sensible shoes and trousers if you want to make the trek to the waterfall. It's basically a mini rock climb! Ok for me, but my 60yr old Mum with a dodgy hip wasn't quite ready for it! She made it and was pleased to do so as it is worth it...but definitely one as a top tip! The lady in the maxi dress struggled a little!
Really appreciated the guide helping me to physically get up to see the waterfall, I couldn't have made it without him. Had a wonderful day experiencing the countryside of Marrakech and really valued the meal cooked for us in a family riad.
This was a superb tour with an excellent guide. The lunch in the Berber village house was unforgettable.
I've travelled 32 countries and completed countless tours and this was the best tour I've ever been on! The hike through the different valleys and waterfalls was spectacular. I've never seen such amazing views. The traditional lunch in the mountains was equally as enticing. It was an authentic Moroccan experience. What made this tour extra special was our tour guide Abdul. He was very friendly, had excellent English, was knowledgeable and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. He took the time to answer all our questions about Moroccan culture and history. Highly recommend this tour and make sure you request Abdul!
This trip is great for getting away from the madness in a good way of the city. The mountains and valleys around Marrakesh are impressive and this trip provides an ideal and relaxing way to seen them. We were picked up at 9am and got back to our Riad about 6, so it is a full day. Our guide Abdellah was excellent. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he clearly enjoys his job and coming from one of the villages we passed through on the trip, he knew the area in detail. We also appreciated his careful driving especially on the mountain roads. The scenery is distinctly different from one valley to the next, which we didn't expect. It was interesting to see the area where the locals go to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and the Berber meal was very tasty. Highly recommend this trip and hopefully you will get Abdellah as your guide.
