Marjelene from Tour company is very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Beautiful location and sight.
The downside is Provence Tour was bought by another company and the phone number was disconnected. I suggest Viator should provide the uptodate phone number. I wasted two days trying to contact Provence Tour on the number indicated on the voucher.
Exploring the Calanques is really exciting, as each inlet is more spectacular than the last. The water is set against steep cliffs, with stunning beaches tucked into the inlets. Stunning, highly recommended.
My daughter and I enjoyed our tour. The guide who picked us up and drove us to Cassis was great. The guide on the boat ride did not speak in English, but instead handed us a piece of paper in English for us to read. The other 6 on the boat spoke another language, so I think he spoke in French. But that did not bother us, since we went mainly to enjoy the sights. Would have liked to see 2 more inlets. He drove us into 3. It was a gorgeous day, and the town was quaint. This was my 3rd Viator tour. I did 2 in Italy. You are very reliable, and I thank you!
It was en enjoyable morning, especially the drive up the highest point overlooking Marseille. The driver/guide was an excellent escort to our tour. The boat ride to the Callanques was interesting but a short one, visiting just three inlets. If the tour had covered at least 5 inlets it would have been great. We also liked Cassis.. One last comment. Please change the contact number on your confirmation voucher as when we tried to connect to fix the pick-up place and time we could not get through as the recorded message was saying the number does not exist. Otherwise, it was a nice experience.
Cassis is a quaint and pretty country city. The guide was nice but didn't provide a ton of details on the location. On our own in Cassis to wander, but most stores weren't open that early. The boat tour was completely in French and we didn't understand a word — except Calanques.
