What You Can Expect
Boarding a bus by Roberts Hawaii, your tour will stop at popular sights such as Hookipa Lookout, where surfers slash through breaking waves to the backdrop of the West Maui Mountains. At the halfway point on the journey to Hana, you’ll also stop at Keanae Lookout for a panoramic view of the shoreline, where local families farm fields of taro as their ancestors have done for centuries.
Stop at popular Waianapanapa Sate Park—home to the black sand beach—before continuing on towards Hana Bay and the town of Hana itself. You’ll also pass numerous waterfalls that are easily visible from the road, including Waikani Falls, Wailua Falls, and smaller ones in between.
Awesome tour, ours was the best tour guide, and best driver on the road to Hana. A must-do if one wants to truly enjoy and fear the drive down the cliff road to Hana and back.
Must do - excellent tour guide
The guide/driver was amazing. His ability to drive those windy, narrow roads and still talk about all the sights was great.
Ken was a great guide, and the scenery was breathtaking.
Another great tour. The road back was rough, but we expected that. Good tour leader.
Tour was good, the waterfalls, rainforest and beach scenery was beautiful. Tai the driver was excellent, he was entertaining and knowledgeable. Lunch was provided and it was good.
What a trip, I'm glad I was not driving on some of the roads, or should I call them trachs with lots of cars trying to get past the bus, a great road to travel on just to see the sights and be amazed at the amount of traffic that uses the road. Some really great viwes and some scarry drops if you get too close to the edge. Well worth the long bus ride.
Great Tour and the driver/guide was excellent
This was my favorite tour. The tour guide, Wally, was a native Hawaiian and very informative. His knowledge of the area, plants, trees, history, etc. was amazing. He gave us plenty of stops to enjoy the scenery and experience the island. I woulld highly recommend this tour for anyone travelling to Maui.
