The guide/driver was amazing. His ability to drive those windy, narrow roads and still talk about all the sights was great.
Another great tour. The road back was rough, but we expected that. Good tour leader.
Tour was good, the waterfalls, rainforest and beach scenery was beautiful. Tai the driver was excellent, he was entertaining and knowledgeable. Lunch was provided and it was good.
What a trip, I'm glad I was not driving on some of the roads, or should I call them trachs with lots of cars trying to get past the bus, a great road to travel on just to see the sights and be amazed at the amount of traffic that uses the road. Some really great viwes and some scarry drops if you get too close to the edge. Well worth the long bus ride.
This was my favorite tour. The tour guide, Wally, was a native Hawaiian and very informative. His knowledge of the area, plants, trees, history, etc. was amazing. He gave us plenty of stops to enjoy the scenery and experience the island. I woulld highly recommend this tour for anyone travelling to Maui.
Kahului is on the island of Maui. This tour with Roberts Hawaii is an all day tour with a packed lunch provided. The tour is cheaper then those provided by our cruise ship Pride of America and we saw the same places as the other expensive tours. We get to see the scenic view of the peninsula, winding forest roads, narrow bridges and beautiful water falls. We visited Hanna Bay where there is a black sand beach and a cave. The tour bus driver was funny and knowledgeable providing lots of information and facts of the place. This is great way to travel around the island and worth the money.
An enjoyable and interesting day tour with some great photo stops and a knowledgeable tour driver.
Beautiful scenery and a friendly driver. Shame the mini-bus developed a fault and we had to wait for a replacement to be sent. 2nd bus was a little smaller and was a little uncomfortable and too crowded because of lack of storage space. The packed lunch was pretty reasonable I thought.
This tour was well worth the time and cost. Especially, if it is your first time on the island.
