It was really nice to just be on the water, looking at the Makena shoreline and being in the sun on a nice Maui day.

The kayaks were very easy to use. We could see the nearby islands of Kahoolawe and Lanai off in the distance.

We headed off the beach toward the snorkel site. The kayak was easy to maneuver and the seas are calm in this part of Maui.
