Our sunrise tour in Maui was absolutely awesome. The tour guide was great and kept things moving along. When the sun came up it was breathtaking. Although it was very early in the morning, we really didn't have to do anything but get on the bus. Maybe you could do something about the sun rising so early in the morning, around noon would be so much better....LOL

Definitely worth the money. It's an unforgetable experience watching the sunrise at top of Haleakala, even though it's freezing cold before sunrise! The driver is very nice and provided a lot information about the mountain and Maui on the way to the top. Breakfast was also great! Food is nice, the view outside is spectacular! If you are lucky enough you'll see rainbow on the way back when looking out through the car window at the breathtaking landscape.

Service was excellent, highly recommended to avoid driving uphill in the dark of night.
They were serious about the cold. I"m from Chicago and I know cold and windy. The wind is icey cold DO DRESS for the ocassion. The sunrise was spectacular. Seeing it from above the earth presents a whole new perspective. A photograpers delight.

It was definitely worth it for us not to drive. The road to get there is very dark and curvy. We got to sit back and relax until we reached the top. The sunrise is absolutely beautiful! Make sure to bring warm clothes to wear once you get there because it gets pretty chilly at the top (and we're from Minnesota).

It's was an awesome experience, a must do in Maui. Make sure you are well rugged up as it is extremely cold up there! Bob our guide was great, very knowledgeable and friendly.

It was truly a spectacular sunrise despite the chilly temperature. The rising sun above the cloud cover was something we've not had the opportunity to enjoy before. Ron, our tour guide was a wealth of information on the drive up Haleakala.

I don't think there are words that would adequately describe the beauty of watching the sunrise over Haleakala! Spectacular, breathtaking, God's finest! But dress warmly! It was cold and the wind was biting!

Absolutely beautiful sunrise. It's exceptional and a must-do while on Maui. It is no joke that you need a coat, gloves and scarf. You'll be back at your hotel before 10AM so can quickly switch into your bathing suit. It's a struggle to get up for the early pick-up but you've already had a day's worth of activities before noon and can plan something else for the afternoon or evening. Beautiful.

Spectacular! A must, even went on a "bad" day, it was misty, and it still is a must see! It is cold, dress warm~ it was about 35 degrees when I was there.
