The boat tour was interesting. Our bus driver Russell did a fantastic bus tour of the city. The tour bus was small which was nice and we got off at a few stops to stretch our legs and check out the city. The best part was the tram car dinner. Fabulous food in a very funky refurbished tramcar with great staff chef Joe and his crew and an open bar!!
Another must do experience. Tour interesting but difficult to hear the commentary on the river cruise. The speakers seems too weak for the loud engine noise. Packed lunch very tasty and filling. The tramcar experience was the highlight with excellent food and service throughout.
Superb day out for all and the meal on the tramcar was limited (due to space) But the food on the tramcar was out of this world - Really good day for everyone
We enjoyed a wonderful day and our thanks are due once again to the Viator team. The Colonial Tramcar experience was truly memorable, the coach tour of the Dandenongs very relaxing and made so by a courteous and knowledgeable driver.
The river trip was slightly marred by the sound system on the boat which made the droll but very entertaining commentary by the skipper difficult to hear. We look forward to our next Viator experience wherever that may be.
This was our favourite trip, it mixed a boat cruise, city highlight tour, mountain trip and rounded it off with a lovely dinner aboard the tram. A lovely day out for all!
It's a rewarding day of experience. Everything went well. I am also personally recommending it to some of my friends.
The Tramcar Restaurant Dinner was of high quality and the trip around Melbourne was great. The staff were very friendly and very good service. Thank you.

A great tour! The dinner was good, the best part was that we sat with some of the people from the tour unexpectedly, and had a really fun time. Not too long or too short!
Time went so quickly, the meal was excellent as was the service.
It was great, especially the tramcar restaurant. Our guide was fantastic and the food was delicious. A very unusual and unforgettable experience.
We would have liked to stop at Sassafras and Olinda for a short visit.
Everyone was great, nothing was a trouble. The coach driver very informative and the tramcar restaurant was just fantastic.
River Cruise was a hoot. Lunch terrible provide warm orange juice - incorrect lunch and bad tasting no place to eat as we sat on very small ice cream chairs and were placed knee to knee. City Tour had a great driver - this included neighborhoods and the botanic garden tram restaurant was awesome.
It was a lovely day to be on the river and see the city from a different perspective. The bus tour took us to places we would never have seen on our own - loved the Brighton Bathing Boxes! Dinner on the tram was a super experience. Service, staff and food were all excellent - what a great way to get around and enjoy a meal at the same time.
River cruise disappointing due to poor commentary - not loud enough to be heard over passengers. Also desserts missing from boxed lunches! Instead had a child's cookie that had gone soft! Coach tour of city excellent. Tram dinner also first class.
Excellent food and service on the tram, a memorable experience. Tour good but cruise on river disappointing with kitchen chairs to sit on. Too many people.
The river cruise was too long and the dandenong drive was a bit boring, but the Dinner on the Tram was excellent!!! Would definitely do the Dinner again.
TRAMCAR RIDE & DINNER 10 OUT OF 10 RIVER TRIP 4 OUT OF 10 HAVING TO WAIT ON RIVER BANK 20 MINS IN COLD & DAMP FOR A LATE BOAT NOT GOOD & MADE US LATE FOR COACH TRIP
Well organised and interesting trips with good tour leaders. The tram car meal was excellent and a lot of fun.
River trip very interesting and bus quite good. Dinner on the tram was excellent - an experience not to be missed. Would certainly do it, ie dinner on the tram again.
The trip on the Yarra was a bit boring, and I would have preferred to spend more time in the Dangdenongs. The tram car was fantastic.
This should have been a highlight of our Australia trip instead it turned out to be one of the most disappointing.
The evening started well, the greeting very welcoming the setting beautiful , until two family’s arrived four adults and five teenagers, the adults decided to occupy the table across from us while they placed their children on two tables behind us. The adults then got louder as they got merrier while their children had duels with the cutlery and generally horsed around.
Their total disregard for other dinners completely ruined the experience for us and would make me think twice before booking such an experience again.
