The Colonial Tram car was one of the best parts of my weekend in Melbourne. The maitre d' was fantastic - he made us laugh and we all had a lot of fun! The actual ride itself was also a good way to see Melbourne city in style- delicious food, great wine, and a very friendly atmosphere! I'd recommend this for anyone.

I had one of the best days on the Tram car. The gourmet food, wine, dessert, nibbles and great atmosphere are fantastic and there is much more for you to indulge in! It was a perfect day to spend with my two best friends, which we all enjoyed tremendously. The staff really made the trip something to remember! It's a must to do when you are in Melbourne.

I took my mother and aunt on the tramcar restaurant, and they had a ball! They were impressed with the food, and especially the service given to us by staff.

I am a born and bred Melbourne girl. I grew up with trams. I caught a clanky, jerking W-class tram to and from school everyday. And along with a lot of others, Ive watched sadly as Melbourne experiments with different shapes and sizes of more modern, smoother, big trams. The shape boxy shape of the W-class is the one in photos, on keyrings and T-shirts. It's beloved of locals and tourists alike. Now there are three trams with kitchens trundling around Melbourne, three times a day: lunch; early dinner (pre-theatre), and a later, longer dinner. Visitors to Melbourne flock to it see the sights while having a meal and a glass of champagne? Genius.

This was my 2nd trip, enjoyed it so much last year with a group of girlfriends. My husband & mother-in-law joined me this time, & once again was just perfect, delicious meal, waited on hand & foot by very pleasant waiter with excellent sense of humour. My mother-in-law still raving about her trip & the meal. Will definitely be doing it again on our next visit to Melbourne. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to the Queen of England. Regards Peter, Kaye & Pat.
