We toured with Bunyip Tours for the Great Ocean Road Sunset tour. It is a relaxing and incredible to go on. We had a tour guide named Rail (apologise if wrongly spelt) and he made the trip worth the while. As stated you end up at the 12 apostles just before sunset and that experience is a 'one in a life time' sunset! trust me, dont miss it! google it if you don't believe me.
Great! Great! Great! Very beautiful. Tour was very interesting. Thanks to our guide Natalie!!
A great trip. Lots of driving, but our tour guide was very good and told us a lot. I can't believe I can't remember her name all of a sudden. Scenery is, of course, breathtaking. You need to do the trip to see this at least once.
Very good tour scenery and stop offs excellent only minus i found the guide rather boring.
Trip was fantastic, but a little confusion prior to the event. I rang and confirmed booking night before and unfortunately they had booked for the early full day trip instead of the sunset tour as per previously arranged. We decided to just go on the early trip as it appeared just too difficult with the man on the phone. Luckily the day went well and the trip was fantastic. We would have liked to actually stop at the some of the places noted in your advertisement instead of just driving past; but obviously time is of the essence when trying to see so many attractions in the one day. Overall 8 out of 10!
Beautiful scenery. Spectacular views. Learnt a lot about Australian animals and culture.
The driver-cum-guide was a fun guy with an OZ sense of humor, Doug!
We had a great time especially since I sat next to him in the bus all day...
He also knew of a secret spot to watch the sunset from down the Gibson steps - and he led us there for that time, we took many pictures, etc.
On the whole a great experience for a day out, the bus and lunch could have been better but the whole point was the outdoors which were well covered, so great!
The trip was good the guide was fun informative and made the trip worth going on disappointed in the lunch and morning tea if that's what you get would rather be taken to a restaurant and pay for my own
the day was amazing loved the relaxed feeling of this tour our tour guide was the best ive experienced only complaint was our evening meal due to the little town we stop at they were all shut and we were extrremely limited in food we needed the 50 mins just to get dinner and eat on bus as the shops openned were overwelmed
The bus although practical was not very comfortable, no head rests amd very little leg room. I felt like I was on an extra small plane and I am only 160cm tall.
The tour was not exactly what was sold. This was supposed to be Sunset Tour, but it turn out to be a regular day ocean road tour as we left the ocean road well before sunset... There is a lot of stops to cover and the tour seems very rushed, with 10/20 minute stops, which were to shot to really appreciate the landscapes.
First confirmation indicated 9:45 pick up time, day before the tour changed to 7:00. Beky, the guide was very good...
Although going through the Great Ocean Road is worth it (my personnal highlight was Loch Ard Gorge) and our guide stopped at ifferent places to allow for photo opportunities, I'm still wondering about the "sunset" part of this tour. We were actually driving back to Melbourne when the sun set...maybe my expectations were too high? No high marks for the lunch provided either. Also note that there's no wifi in the van
