Great Ocean Road
Your Great Ocean Road tour begins with panoramic views as you leave Melbourne from the West Gate Bridge. You'll soon be on the coast, passing world-famous Bells Beach, host of the World Surfing Championships, and dropping into the seaside holiday resort of Lorne.
Enjoy a traditional billy (bush) tea with scrumptious lamingtons and try the Aussie favorite -- vegemite on crackers!
Travel along one of the greatest scenic drives, the Great Ocean Road. You will pass under towering limestone cliffs and along sweeping beaches all the way to the Twelve Apostles rising abruptly from the sea. Here you'll have the option of taking a helicopter flight over the dramatic Shipwreck Coast. There are lots of photo opportunities from the various coastal viewing platforms and your expert tour guide will share the tragic legends of the Shipwreck Coast.

A good trip, gorgeous scenery, and the bus driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable. The coach was comfortable. Be prepared for a long day, and a relatively boring 3 hour drive back to MEL at the end of the day. Bring an mp3 player, iPad, or something for entertainment.
