\Highly recommended must do - also very friendly and helpful staff thanks :)\
Great crew, interesting commentary, relaxing way to spend a couple of hours on the Yarra. Well worth the price. Thank you.
We took overseas visitors and we were all very impressed with the commentary and the whole trip. Well done! We will certainly keep this in mind when we have more overseas visitors.
We thoroughly enjoyed the City Cruise on the Yara River, even though it was raining. The Captain and assistant were tremendous. Melbourne is a beautiful city! We would love to go back there again for a longer time, as we spent only 2 days there this time.
The cruise was fantastic. The captain was so knowledgeable and interesting, I have lived in Melbourne all my life an I we learnt so much more about Melbourne and the Yarra. Many thanks.
A great day out. There were 6 of us. The commentary was excellent and very relaxing. With tea, coffee provided. The break of 30 minutes between the upstream ride and downstream ride can work out to your benefit, giving you time to freshen up and maybe have a light snack at the many eating places close by. If you are looking to entertain friends or have a day out in the city, why not go on a river cruise? I hope to go again soon to entertain our friends at Easter.
My husband, brother and sister-in-law were given this trip by our parents. We thoroughly enjoyed it so much we are going back in to do it again with our children. Thankyou very much.
Fortunately I picked a bright sunny day, so the water was calm and the view excellent. I did an up-river and a down-river cruise and both were excellent. Nice leisurely pace and lots to see. Captain's commentry was great, he was knowledgeable and amusing.

Excellent trip, particularly downstream. Only marred at the last minute by a black sky and thunderstorm.
A trip well worth doing in Melbourne. Well organised, fabulous captain/commentator, comfortable boat. Saw the city from a wonderful perspective.
Even though the weather was overcast and a bit cool, we really enjoyed the cruise, especially the informative commentary from our Captain. It was very relaxing. The complimentary coffee was a bonus.
Great day and very informative with the information. Pleasant staff, well done.
Great crew and lovely scenery. The only negative was that coffee was instant and not that good, but we didn't take the trip for the coffee.
We all loved the cruise...thought that the coffee/tea could have been a little better...maybe a bikky also would have been nice but the commentary was excellent
Tour guide was awesome, but your was a little shorter than I thought.
The cruise was two hours and included free tea/coffee. It was good value and gave an ideal opportunity to see the city from the river. Recommend that you do both A and B to make sure you see all the sights!
It is good trip to see some important places in melbourne while you are cruising.
Tour was everything promised in the advertisement. We were a group of 6 seniors. 2 were local Melbourne residents of 40 years. All of us found the tour enlightening. It was wonderful to see Melbourne from the water. The trip out to the Bay/port facilities was particularly interesting and scenic. The view of Melbourne CBD with the Bolte Bridge in the foreground is not to be missed.
This trip was a good way to see Melbourne from the water... we took both the north and the south trips ....I do feel the commentary was less than enthusiastic, a bit of going through the motions and could've been more informative but, all in all if you have modulated expectations you will enjoy this trip .....
loved it that they waited for us for our trip further uphill!
Nice 2 part tour but can mean changing boats and time we "booked" was fully booked by operator and we had to go an hour later
The river tour is good. I recommend doing both tours that take you to the east and west side of the river.
You get some really good views of the city when you go down the west side, which is better than the east side I think.
Arrive 10 minutes early to board if you want to get a good seat. You can sit inside when if you want to listen to commentary, or stand/sit outside if you want to see an unobstructed view of the city.
If you are outside remember to duck when you hear the horn, because a low bridge is coming :)
