Australia's largest aquarium offers a look into the amazing and different world of aquatic animals such as sandbar whaler sharks, grey nurse sharks, Port Jackson sharks, king penguins, gentoo penguins, freshwater sawfish, smooth stingrays, green sea turtles and big-bellied seahorses.
Eureka Skydeck 88
Visit Melbourne's newest attraction offering unparalleled views of Melbourne and surrounding regions. Venture to the top of the Eureka Tower on the banks of the Yarra River to take in 360-degree floor-to-ceiling views of Melbourne. Come morning or night for different viewing experiences.
Old Melbourne Gaol
Take a step back in time and walk the road to the gallows of a 19th-century prison. Built in the 1839, the jail stood as a symbol of authority as it was where the colony’s most dangerous criminals were held. More than 130 hangings were carried out here, including Australia's most famous criminal, Ned Kelly. Learn what it was like for the men and women who lived and died here, visit the former watch house and experience being arrested in an environment unchanged since the police and inmates left in the mid-1920s.
