We had a great guide who really knew his stuff. All the main tourist sites are covered and the river cruise is a definite must.

Very well organised. Excellent tour of the city and suburbs giving a total overview, information and history picking out some of the hidden places that could well be overlooked. Then able to go back and spend time at the places we wanted to visit in our own time. Did not do the river cruise so can not comment upon that.

Gets you a good idea of where to go the rest of the days you are around. If you are there for up to a week you can pretty much do it on your own.

The drivers were great, very humourous. The only issue I had was the pickup time we were told was 20 minutes later than the actual pickup time. We were lucky we didn't miss the bus!

A good way to get an overview of the city through the narrated tour. Then, on another day, you can take Melbourne's free city bus to get back to the points you'd like to visit.

This was a good tour, and we learned things from the commentary but would have liked to have been able to get off the bus more. We learned that there is a free shuttle for tourists around the city, so if we'd known that, we probably would have saved our money. We prebooked the Yarra cruise, but we wished we'd skipped it as there were only 4 of us on the boat in September and it was kind of a repeat of things we'd already heard and seen by the bus or walking around.

While the city tour was very interesting, I wish we had stopped at a few more of the sights. The river cruise was delightful, and a great way to spend time in Melbourne!
