Great trip, friendly operators, and the bird feeding was definitely a highlight.

Yarra River Cruise itself was quite good but experience was diminished by very poor quality audio system. Could not hear commentary even when volume turned up. Coach trip to dandenongs was a good trip but stops were far too rushed.

The tour staff was very professional and organized. The tour started off well; however, when we went to the cruise on the Yarra River, we were a bit disappointed as we only got to see the Docklands because the boat could not pass under the bridge since the tide was rising. We understand their hands we tied, but compensation should have been given for not our getting the complete Yarra River cruise. The Melbourne City Sights tour was rushed, and highlights were pointed out by the coach driver. There was no time to explore these sights on the tour itself. The journey up to the Dandenongs was narrarated by the coach driver, who spoke too quickly to understand. On arrival at the first stop, they offer Billy Tea and 30 minutes to explore. Our recommendation is to skip the tea and explore for the full 30 minutes. There are a few trails you can take that you can fit into the time allotted; otherwise you will spend the full amount of time waiting for them to prepare the tea and you won't get to see much. The second stop at the top was lovely; however, there was not enough time to explore the beautiful landscape and scenery.
All in all, an OK tour to familiarize yourself with Melbourne's geography to go and explore again on your own.
Bus driver was informative but not friendly at all when we were asking questions. The city tour was just a drive around the city. Bird feeding was a JOKE, much more tourists than birds. Dandenong is like Blue Mountains in Sydney without the 3 Sisters. Beautiful range area, but not worth spending an afternoon on the coach for. Most of the time on the bus, so unless you are 65, I don't recommend this tour!!
