Overall the trip was good. However, the Melbourne City part of the trip was extremely short, missing St. Pauls, the Gaol, the Markets, the Shrine of Remembrance and others. The website also said that we could hand feed the birds at Sherbrooke Forest and that seed would be provided. This did not happen, I suspect because the cockatoos are a little boisterous, but it should perhaps be removed from the website. The sound on the bus was not particularly good, and the driver did not check to see that we could all hear his commentary clearly. The rest was lovely except that for me the tea was a little strong! Thanks for a pleasant trip.

My friend and I enjoyed the tour but feel we missed out by not stopping at some of the little towns along the way. The feeding of the birds was not that pleasant as the white cockatoos seem to have taken over and frighten people, one bit me on the arm and a week later I still have a large bruise to show. An afternoon tea or even lunch or just a browse or a walk along the street of one of the towns as they all look inviting would have been great.

The Dandenong tour was great good tour driver the cruise was alright but not what I expected, not scenic. It was down river in the industrial dockyards, other disappointment was no hotel pickup for the cruise which was booked and I wasn't informed of this just lucky we made the tour in time at their office by getting a taxi.

Great trip, friendly operators, and the bird feeding was definitely a highlight.

Yarra River Cruise itself was quite good but experience was diminished by very poor quality audio system. Could not hear commentary even when volume turned up. Coach trip to dandenongs was a good trip but stops were far too rushed.

The tour staff was very professional and organized. The tour started off well; however, when we went to the cruise on the Yarra River, we were a bit disappointed as we only got to see the Docklands because the boat could not pass under the bridge since the tide was rising. We understand their hands we tied, but compensation should have been given for not our getting the complete Yarra River cruise. The Melbourne City Sights tour was rushed, and highlights were pointed out by the coach driver. There was no time to explore these sights on the tour itself. The journey up to the Dandenongs was narrarated by the coach driver, who spoke too quickly to understand. On arrival at the first stop, they offer Billy Tea and 30 minutes to explore. Our recommendation is to skip the tea and explore for the full 30 minutes. There are a few trails you can take that you can fit into the time allotted; otherwise you will spend the full amount of time waiting for them to prepare the tea and you won't get to see much. The second stop at the top was lovely; however, there was not enough time to explore the beautiful landscape and scenery.
All in all, an OK tour to familiarize yourself with Melbourne's geography to go and explore again on your own.
Bus driver was informative but not friendly at all when we were asking questions. The city tour was just a drive around the city. Bird feeding was a JOKE, much more tourists than birds. Dandenong is like Blue Mountains in Sydney without the 3 Sisters. Beautiful range area, but not worth spending an afternoon on the coach for. Most of the time on the bus, so unless you are 65, I don't recommend this tour!!
