Friendly, helpful, reassuring and quickly adapted to unexpected change, Would recommend to friends.
My partner and I - and our little nine-month-old - flew home to New Zealand in April. We'd been living in Melbourne for the past two years, but were coming home for three months.
Unfortunately, we slept through our alarms it was a very early check-in. I woke five minutes before the shuttle was due. I lugged three suitcases, three carry-on bags and the pushchair downstairs and then bade farewell to my partner and son. I stayed behind to tidy up our house we were moving out you see: we'd planned to get up two hours earlier.
Anyway... long story short. It was a very stressful time and the driver an Ethiopian or Somalian gentleman was so kind to my partner and son. When they got in in to Melbourne airport, he raced off and found a trolley and helped her with all those bags. Again, six bags and a pushchair. Bloody decent of him.
This review barely hints at the full stressfulness of the experience. After the disastrous start, we needed everything to go our way - and heaps of help - if we were to make the plane.
Fortunately, we lucked upon the Melbourne's star shuttle driver. Great guy.
If someone can pass on our appreciation, we'd be most thankful.
