Melbourne Super Saver: Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island plus Melbourne Attraction Pass

Phillip Island Penguin Parade

This Super Saver pass combines two popular full-day tours and the Melbourne Attraction Pass, which allows entry into the SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and Eureka Skydeck 88. Enjoy savings of more than 25% with this Super Saver, compared to booking each tour and attraction separately.

On the Great Ocean Road tour, soak in some of the most beautiful coastal scenery on the planet while traveling through picturesque resort towns, pristine stretches of beach and the rain forest of Great Otway National Park. The drive comes to a dramatic finish at the limestone stacks of the Twelve Apostles and the beautiful but tragic Loch Ard Gorge on Australia's ‘Shipwreck Coast.’

On Phillip Island, get an up-close encounter with kangaroos, koalas and wombats, and watch the famous Penguin Parade, when hundreds of fairy penguins emerge from the ocean and waddle across a local beach to their burrows.

See Itinerary below for full tour details. The two day tours must be taken within seven days of each other. Passes for Melbourne Aquarium and Eureka Skydeck 88 are distributed on the day of the Great Ocean Road tour and are valid for six months.

Itinerary

Great Ocean Road Classic Tour:
Start your Melbourne immersion with the road trip everyone's talking about! Follow the historical Great Ocean Road, one of the world's most scenic coastal routes, as it winds along Victoria's southwest coast, passing long golden beaches, rugged sandstone cliffs and eucalypt-tree rainforest.

Pass the beach resort villages of Lorne and Apollo Bay and take in panoramic coastal views from the Cape Otway Lighthouse. Hear the tragic tales of the Loch Ard Gorge and discover why this spectacularly wild part of Victoria is known as the Shipwreck Coast. Then, enjoy a traditional Australian barbeque lunch.

The route also takes you among the soaring eucalypt trees of the Otway rain forest, and to the offshore sandstone stacks called the Twelve Apostles.

Phillip Island Penguin Parade:
On another day (within seven days of your Great Ocean Road tour), travel to Phillip Island to visit the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park for a hands-on wildlife experience. Learn about the park's conservation efforts, hand-feed a kangaroo, see wallabies and wombats, or have the opportunity to get a photo taken with a koala. You'll also see flying possums and other cute Australian marsupial mammals.

Next, you'll see sheep shearing and working dogs in action at the historic farm on neighboring Churchill Island before visiting the Koala Conservation Centre. Visit Phillip Island's wild and rugged surf beaches at Cape Woolamai, and see basking fur seals at Seal Rocks and the rocky outcrop known as the Nobbies.

As dusk falls, get ready for the main event at Summerland Beach, as Victoria's largest colony of little penguins return home from a day of fishing at sea, waddling their way up the sands to their burrows.

Enhance your penguin-viewing experience with a choice of upgrade options. Choose the Penguin Plus option to have a better view of the penguins from the comfort of an exclusive viewing area with private boardwalk. Or be warm and dry in a Penguin Skybox and watch the penguins from an elevated indoor viewing area while enjoying drinks and canapés. Choose the Private Penguin Parade for front-row seats on the sand with access to the penguins, joining an exclusive small group visit with a private ranger guide.

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium
See the amazing world of aquatic animals such as sandbar whaler sharks, gray nurse sharks, Port Jackson sharks, king penguins, gentoo penguins, freshwater sawfish, smooth stingrays, green sea turtles and big-bellied seahorses at Australia's largest aquarium.

Eureka Skydeck 88

Enjoy unparalleled views of Melbourne from the top of the Eureka Tower on the banks of the Yarra River. Take in 360-degree floor-to-ceiling views of Melbourne, equally brilliant by day or when twinkling with lights at night.

The whole experience was amazing. Seeing the Great Ocean road the first day and then Philips Island the second day was really exciting. On both days our tour guides were super nice and very knowledgable. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who may be unsure as to what to do/see, as it crams a lot into 2 very long days that are totally worth it.

Really enjoyed the tour with Bunyip and our cheerful guide Sophie.
You will see wonderful landscape, meet animals. Sophie gave us great tips on how to enjoy to the max our trip ! You will also learn interesting facts about Koalas, Kangourous and more.
The tour is well timed thought I wish we had extra time at some places.

To make it short, awesome scenery, excellent and experienced guide.

This was an amazing two-day experience and I can't recommend it highly enough. It was great to get out of the city and see some of the country on the ride out to Great Ocean Road. The views of the water are stunning and the tour is organize is such a way that you get to stop and see all the sights and get plenty of bathroom breaks so it never feels like you're just driving and driving. The stop at the Cape Otway Lightstation was a surprise treat definitely go up for the view!! Jeremy, or tour guide and driver, was personable and knowledgeable and by the end of the day our van had formed into a happy little family. My favorite part of the Ocean Road tour day was Loch Ard Gorge. Honestly, most beautiful place I've ever been.

We did the Phillip Island tour day second. This is PERFECT for any animal lover and anyone wanting to get cozy with Australia's famous wildlife. Our first stop at the Moonlight Wildlife Sanctuary was AMAZING. For 15 we got out photos taken with an adorable koala named Blue Gum. For 2, you can buy a bag of feed and feed the adorable wallabies and kangaroos out of your hand. The wallabies are SO CUTE and gentle. You can wander around and see all kinds of other wildlife too. To be honest I could have done without the trip to the farm. The highlight of this tour is obviously the Penguin Parade, and it doesn't disappoint. The penguin center was really nice and add two nice gift shops and some expensive food. It's really privilege to sit down and watch as nature goes to work and the penguins are pretty adorable. Don't miss this.

I have to say that this two-day pass is a deal! Lunch was included both days, as was the entry fee to all the ticketed places we visited. I feel like I got to see so much in two jam-packed days. Do it!

I had a wonderful time in Melbourne. I was there for a total of the best part of 5 days. There was nothing I did that I would not do again. I did the Great Ocean Road tour, the Phillip Island tour, and with the pass I did the Melbourne Zoo, SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium, and the Hop On Hop Off bus. From the bus I stopped at the Queen Victoria Market, the Melbourne Museum, St Kilda and Eureka Skydeck 88.

Trip was great. Great Ocean Road is beautiful. Bus driver was very informative.

I loved the Phillip Island tour. It was much more than I realized. The penguins were wonderful, but the other parts of the trip were also super. wildlife refuge, Koala refuge, Historic farm, etc. This was a really full day. We left at 11:15AM and got back around midnight.

The attraction pass was simple to acquire and simple to use. I went to the Melbourne Zoo and Aquarium and did the Hop on, Hop off
