A good tour but not not everyone's cup of tea

Guide, Alex, was very friendly and informative. Found tour a little long, though and if you haven't watch the tv show, which we hadn't , then the tour was harder to follow along on the information and places. We really enjoyed the Old Melbourne Gaol experience at the end of tour. The actor playing the sargent was great!

Driver turns up with a balaclava & boilersuit on! It's a good tour but it's very generally about Melbourne crime. "Underbelly" the TV show happenings are really only a bit of this tour. Most of it is about the Hoddle St Massacre and the Walsh St Murders. Still very interesting but if you'd gone on it as an Underbelly fan you'd probably feel a bit disappointed. The Watch House part of the tour though is a hoot and not to be missed.

It was advertised as an underbelly crime tour, yet half of the tour was not related to the underbelly crimes, just Melbourne crime. It was still interesting, but I would have preferred to see more actual sights of the underbelly gangland crimes, rather than places where the tv show was filmed. The only genuine underbelly crime scene we saw was where Mick Gatto shot Benji. For me, the experience of being somewhere where something as significant as this actually occurred cannot even compare to scenes from the show. So much better, you can feel it in your bones. I feel a bit letdown as I was expecting to see more true life sights, to get that chill. Our tour guide was good though, very knowledgeable.

This tour wasn't what we expected. I think more information about the tour could be provided on the website. Parts of the tour were good but we didn't get morning tea when it was supposed to be provided. We did enjoy the Watchhouse experience at the Melbourne Gaol at the end of the tour

I think we missed out on the regular tour guide. We are from Melbourne, but if we had have been from overseas I don't think there was enough info on the places we travelled through.

It was okay. It went on a lot longer than we thought and we had to cut it short due to our limited time in Melbourne. If you have most of the day and are an absolute Aussie Crime buff then definitely do it. Guide was good and very knowledgeable. Had to quickly and discreetly ditch the little bags of "white powder" at the airport which was fun! Ha ha!

We just drove around in a bus, but the old Melbourne Gaol and Watchhouse were good.
