What You Can Expect
Pop in at the charming Main Ridge Dairy to sample a variety of creamy goat cheeses and say hello to the resident herd of goats that provide the milk. Continue on to Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm to indulge in an array of fruit-flavored treats, including strawberry wine and liquor, chocolate-dipped strawberries and juicy, fresh-picked berries during harvest season.
Next, visit the cellar door of T'Gallant Winery to taste cool-climate varietals like chardonnay and pinot noir. Admire the beautiful scenery of rolling hills as you learn about the winemaking process.
After you’ve worked up an appetite, it’s time for lunch! During the summer season, enjoy a gourmet picnic on the shore with leisure time for a swim or a game of beach cricket. During cooler weather, get cozy in one of the charming cafés in the seaside town of Flinders.
Save room for more wine, as you’ll next head to Red Hill Estate Winery, which features regional varietals and glorious ocean views. Finally, toast your tour with a glass of sparkling wine and cheese pairings at the award-winning Stonier Vineyard. After your delicious day, relax on the return drive to Melbourne, where you’ll be dropped off back at your hotel.
Great tour and a great guide! Loved the strawberry farm and all the vineyards. The only thing that was a disappointment was how the the cheese tasting was structured. The cheese was EXCELLENT and the service was friendly, but the samples weren't well thought out. We had to share cheeseboards with complete strangers and it wasn't evenly distributed. Our table had more people on our board so we didn't get as much, and as we were leaving there were other groups where it looked like the cheese was untouched because there were more people to each board. I'd recommend thinking about individual samples or at least doing this in pairs as it's a lot easier to share with a spouse or friend than a complete stranger.
our tour guide was absolute amazing! we had a great day and felt we saw a lot of excellent places. highly recommend!
Beautiful day out. Well organised. Fantastic stops. Wonderful guide. Highly recommend to anyone considering a day trip to the Mornington peninsular.
Great value for money.
This tour was amazing!
The weather was rainy and miserable on the day we did this tour, but that didn't matter at all! We were either on the bus or in a winery or somewhere enjoying something delicious. Lee - the tour guide/host chap - was really nice and friendly, yet very professional and knowledgeable. We felt the tour is very well put together with a number of different things to enjoy, rather than just being a winery tour exclusively.
A great tour, plenty of food and wine, and a very informative tour guide.
Relaxing and informative. Great guide.
Had a great day, our guide Peter was well informed and gave some excellent insight into Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Excellent day, excellent weather, highly recommended.
What a great day ... but a long one. We were promptly picked up at the appointed time and the rest of the day proceeded really well. The cheese tasting was very tasty and we enjoyed the kids as well. The chocolate shop provided a beautifully presented and scrumptious lunch and their chocolate was soooo good. The strawberries at the farm were absolutely beautiful as well but the place was so crowded it was difficult to enjoy the place. We visited three wineries which were all different and interesting. Our enabler was very approachable and helpful and drove us safely.. All in all a very pleasant day on the peninsular.
