I would highly recommend the guided ranger tour for the penguin parade. Personally I would have skipped the dinner stop in Cowes to spend more time at the site of the penguin parade. This is food at the visitors center and well as interesting information on the penguins as well as the gift shop.
Great tour, really worth to join. The driver same person as the guide is experienced and professional. He made much fun to the tour. Lunch is good and delicious. The white and red wine as well as cheese tasting also impressed me very much. Of course, the little penguins are the highlight. They are very cute and lovely! Be reminded that to bring a thick cloth when awaiting to see the Penguin Parade at the viewing platform. Otherwise, you will be freeze!
Great trip, Guide was very friendly and professional. I enjoy it very much
Great day would highly recommend upgrading to the guided ranger tour. Dane was a top guide and it was the perfect mixture of wildlife, scenery, food and walking
c'est un tour très bien organiser avec un guide super qui prenait vraiment le temps de répondre avec gentillesse à toutes vos questions.
What a great tour. Tour guide was terrific - very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the entire tour, but of course the best part was the Penguin parade. Bought the guided Ranger tour and it was well worth it. Sat directly on the beach in front of everyone else. The Penguins came out of the water directly up to us and walked around. Came within a few feet. With out the Ranger tour you sit in bleachers back off the sand, and although you can still see the penguins, the best way to get close is the Ranger tour.
The whole trip was very well managed and we all saw plenty of wildlife before arriving at the penguin viewing area.
Best tour ever!!! Nicky was adorable, with a great sense of humor. She entertained us all the time. We had a lunch on the trout and bush tucker farm, where Nicky made us a tour and explained about local plants - it was very interesting. We visited a very nice small winery where we tasted wines and cheeses - it was very good. The Phillip island is spectacular, especially Nobbies views. The only time I saw a koala that was not sleeping, was in this tour. And of course, the best conclusion of this tour is a penguins parade - the cutest thing I ever saw.
As I said - the BEST tour ever!
Great tour, guide was laid back and had just the right approach. Really enjoyed the wine tasting and the highlight of the Penguins wrap up warm if you go in the winter!
OMG. What a fantastic trip. Lunch was exceptional, koalas cute, wine and cheese tasting lovely and the cute penguins a joy. Absolutely wonderful tour. It was made so much better by our tour guide / driver / entertainer Katie. She was brilliant. Very informative, witty and knowledgeable.
Would recommend this tour to everyone.
It was a very informative and well planned trip. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Nicky from Go West was fabulous!
An amazing experience! The small group made it well worth the cost. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining.
Whole day was wonderful. Every stop and the variety of the stops was very enjoyable. Our tour guide Dave was knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend to anyone
There were about 22 of us on this tour. This was a great trip that culminated in seeing the penquins at sunset. We opted for the premium seating. For us it was well worth the extra money. We had front row seats for the greatest show on earth!
This experience is very highly recommended for all to see. Those tiny little penquins waddling up
the beach and finding their burrow was amazing.
Excellent trip - Frank our tour guide was extremely informative. The Penguins were super cute and I would recommend buying the 'Plus' ticket.
Really fun day out!Daniel was a great guide and made everything very interesting. He even lent my daughter his jacket when she was cold in the evening. The penguins were so sweet and really worth the wait.
This was a very wonderful tour. Our driver Stuart, from GoWest, picked us up and the fun never stopped. First we stopped at a restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. I had the quiche. Saw a trout farm, and then we went wine tasting. Next off to see koalas and kangaroos. Our final destination the penguin parade. It was amazing to see those little penguins coming in from the ocean and walk all the way up the beach, over rocks and past to find their burrows. They are so small and you don't realize how small they are until you actually get to see them. Stuart was awesome the whole time. Our best interests were always at the top of his list of where to find the koalas to where to sit for the penguins. He even baked us cake and brought coffee, hot chocolate and tea. This was a first class tour all the way.
Great tour, a must if visiting Melbourne - Highly recommend the Guided Ranger Tour. Gives you a greater understanding of why the Little Penguins do what they do, front row seats and a better view. Would definitely book this tour again
Was a very enjoyable your. Cassie our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend this to everyone
