It was nice to be able to go through the house twice with the VIP package!
We stayed in the Heartbreak Hotel on Lonely Street as mentioned in the song and we didn't have far to walk to exchange our vouchers for tickets. We did have a wait to get on the bus to cross the road. We were given headphones for the audio tour and were dropped off at the front door of Graceland. Once inside we self guided and walked through the house and grounds. The house was very dark inside but the quality of the furnishings couldn't be denied. So many costumes, gold records and commendations. I think everybody was awestruck. There is a presence there, a feeling of actually being part of that time, joy and sadness for a life that finished much too soon. The bus collected everybody and took them back over the road where they could visit the aeroplane and car museum, gift shops and ice cream shop. The atmosphere all around the area was of Elvis singing. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Graceland is simply exceptional. The house itself is so lovely and peaceful, and you can feel Elvis's presence everywhere. The exhibits change all the time; each time I've visited, there was something new and interesting to see. This trip was a special celebration for my niece's 18th birthday. It was her first trip to Graceland (my third), and she had a wonderful time as well.
Excellent, we throughly enjoyed the experience. The tour was absolutely fantastic!
Another dream come true. Visited the King at his home Graceland. Everything in this area of Memphis was well laid out and well thought for the thousands of visitors who must come here each year. The tour was self guided, but heaps ot time to see and absorb it all. Just as he left it, all his awards, his movie costumes, his show outfits and his records on display. One could not help being moved, when seeing home movies, and hearing Lisa Maree tell about her father in different rooms. The gift shops were mostly tasteful and if you wanted a souvenier there were heaps of types to choose from. Parking was plentiful, the bus taking you back and forth was quaint but a great way to control numbers at any given time. Courteous staff everywhere. I have photos I will treasure forever. So glad I booked this tour, Thank you.
I was born in the 80's so Elvis is a little before my time. I grew up with my parents listening to him, taking the tour gave me a much better appreciation of his music, life and his contributions. Thoroughly enjoyed taking the tour. As soon as I got home I downloaded a bunch of his songs.
A really interesting tour can go at your own pace and avoid crowds, good value
Had a wonderful visit to Graceland! Had been there many years ago. Enjoyed this visit just as much as the first one. Would come go every year if I could. Such a thrill to be there!
we went to Graceland first then Sun Studio when in fact we should have ended up at Graceland because there was just so much to see. Awesome to see Elvis's home and how beautifully it has been kept for people to view. definitely recommend a trip to Graceland!
Fabulous!!!!! Love love loved it!!! Would liked to have seen the Aloha Hawaii costume belt and more of his rings. Was told they were on a road exhibit.God bless Pricilla for keeping Elvis alive. Great job, Pricilla!!
Going to Graceland was something I always wanted to do. So when I new my dream trip was actually going to happen. I checked things out and discovered there was a VIP pass you could purchase. With the VIP pass it showed you a little more of the mansion. I knew if I was going to actually be fortunate enough to go see Graceland, I was going to see as much as I could. For me it was everything and more than what I had expected. I had goose bumps, shed a few tears, and couldn't stop thinking that I was actually in Elvis Presley's home.
The next day was off to see Sun Studio's. When they played the VERY FIRST recording of ELVIS, the goose bumps returned, OMG. If you are a true ELVIS fan, and have gone to Graceland and Sun Studio's , you get it. If your an ELVIS fan and haven't made the trip, start packing your bags.
The trip to Graceland was amazing! Just reminded us what a great artist and person Elvis was. Loved seeing the he he lived in and shared with his family.
What can you say that hasn't been said - if you are in Memphis YOU have to see Graceland.
The tickets from Viator were cheaper than we could of got at Graceland direct. We got there early but the platinum package is definitely the way to go, especially if you we're to get there a bit later in the day.
An excellent tour, very well organized and professionally presented. The upgrade to the VIP tour was worth every nickel, i.e., front of the line entrance, special boarding privledges and access to all exhibits, etc. Lots of fun and really nice people...a truly great experience.
