Excellent day out. It's hard work climbing the pyramids but worth every step. Don't forget your hat and take some water. Hotel pick-up punctual but did get back later than advertised. Good buffet lunch at a very reasonable extra cost. Oh, remember your head for heights too!
Cannot miss this if you visit Mexico City. The tour was well planned and there was enough time to scale the pyramids and take plenty of pictures.
Great day out of Mexico City. Early start but worth it to see Teoihuacan. Alejandro was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Great day out, everything worked perfectly from hotel pick-up to drop-off, almost on our own at the pyramids before the heat and sociable lunch after, big thumbs up

This is a wonderful tour....the guide was timely, accurate and very prepared! Highly recommended....
This tour was excellent from start to finish.
The hotel pick up was punctual. The trip from Mexico City to Teotihuacan was brief and a bit bumpy. If you enjoy a bumpy ride, sit towards the back of the minibus.
The early morning tour is very clear of people. We were among the very few and it felt like a private tour of Teotihuacan.
Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and polite. The climb up the Sun Pyramid was intense but fun! Take your time climbing up those steep steps, you're given 40 minutes to ascend, enjoy and descend the Sun Pyramid. A slow ascent can take up to 10 minutes, so 40 minutes isn't bad at all. There were old people from other tour groups that made it to the top.
The Moon Pyramid was a less intense climb.
This tour did not feel rushed or boring at any moment. Very well paced and informative.
Beware of the hordes of peddlers trying to sell you junk. Some of them might have nice things that some people might find interesting. They'll respectfully turn away to a single no thank you or no gracias.
After the Teotihuacan tour, we went to the tequila and mezcal tasting tour which was very interesting and fun. It was one of the highlights of the overall tour.
From there was lunch, which was quite delicious especially the Aztec soup.
Short and sweet tour to Teotihuacan... highly recommended if you're pressed for time. There are hawkers roaming the ruins trying to sell you stuff but other than that the ruins are simply amazing. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and was very professional. Please ensure that you call in at least 48hours in advance for pick up time at the hotel. We were picked up exactly at 7am from our hotel lobby. The lunch stop we had was OK, it was next to a souvenir shop and it's NOT included in the tour.
Highly recommend this tour if you want a bit more information than the little signs scattered around.
It's an early start but absolutely worth the effort and the cost.
Learned a lot, had a great time with a great bunch of people.
Our guide was Gerson. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and was a great communicator. He was able to accomadate our older/slower group members but did not hold the rest of the group back. I could not imagine a better Guide for the City of the Gods.
Our driver was Rodolfo. His bus was clean, cool, and well maintained. His driving was extremely safe and he was always on schedule.
The lunch stop was fantastic. The food and collectibles were vast and precious.
Excellent tour - guide Leonado was well informed and very pleasant. Teotihuacan is fabulous, well worth the trip. Do take sensible shoes, water and a hat - it is hot there. Enjoyed the whole day, including the lunch after, although could have done without the half-hearted 'entertainment' over lunch. We were last dropped off after the trip, which meant 21/2 hours return trip round all the hotels in nightmare Mexico traffic, but at least it meant we saw lots of different areas in the city.
Walking around the fantastic site in the early morning when we were almost he only group there is a great experience and having a knowledgeable guide was the icing on the cake. The tour finished with a visit to an artisan centre when we could have lunch. Most of us had lunch as a group which was great fun and a chance to meet people from all over the world and share our experiences. Thanks to Sandra for making it a great day
We had a great tour, and Leonardo was a fantastic guide. I'd recommend this early-morning, half-day tour to anyone visiting Mexico City who wants to visit the site. We were there before the crowds, and got an understanding of the history of the city, the culture, and several demonstrations how the pigments were derived to paint the pyramids, how a cactus to be broken down into liquor, parchment, even a needle and thread that we wouldn't have gotten on our own.
Guide -Leonardo- spoke vey good English and gave us just enough information without burdening us with too much.
Well organized route through Teotihuacan with an early start to beat the crowds.
Early start absolutely essential.
Friendly guide and very good driver.
The tour itself is perfect, not short or not long.
We had a great time on our tour! We were picked up on time, and our tour guide was friendly, very knowledgeable about the history of the pyramids, and bilingual as well. The buffet lunch was much better than what we expected on a day tour.
The pick-up was on time what is very rare in Mexico.
Our guide was amazing and the tour is great as you get to know a lot of details of the pyramids. The only tour that has a guide that really knows about what she was talking about. You see much more you would see with the tours that go to the Pyramids and Basilica in the same day.
The driver and tour guide picked us up from our hotel around 6am. We arrived early enough to the park to beat the rush hour traffic. We were happy to beat many of the vendors and the harsh sun, or possible rain since it's rain season. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and he spoke great English. He was organized and made sure this tour was a good experience for us. Definitely worth the low price! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Teotihuacan.
Going early in the morning was a really good idea as we see most of the site easily, no waiting! This tour is a must when you visit Mexico city, not too far and a wonderful experience.
Perfect idea to start the trip this early. Very idyllic place in the early morning hours.
The guide was very friendly and gave a lot of informations about the history of this place.
