the luchadors were acrobatic and the cervezas were cheap. seriously awesome time
Had a great time Lots of yelling , cheering, booing at the villains (learning some great phrases in Spanish!). Seats were so close to the ring so we could see everything The only disappointment was that the guide gave us a little bottle Mescal to take in with us to drink which was promptly confiscated at the entrance. He would have known that. Otherwise a fun night for those who want a break from museums!
Awesome had a great time, fun for all. Driver was on time and friendly.
Loved it! Had an amazing time!
Lucha Libre (or Wrestling) is part of the Mexican Cultural and "heroes" imaginary. People identify themselves strongly with some "luchadores" or fighters; seeing Mexican Wrestling was a very exciting and amusing experience. Its not only the fights but all the environment that makes this experience unique - not be be missed!
Had a fantastic time :-) shame that the locals can take photos but visitors cannot. Transport took us right to the door and picked up promptly at front at conclusion.
The guide was friendly and the wrestling show was fantastic but we would have liked a bit of information about Lucha Libre. There was none. We were basically just picked up and dropped off which we could have paid a cab driver to do so for much cheaper! However we did love our masks!!
The wrestling was awesome but there are much cheaper ways to see it. Our hostel had a tour running for around $30US which included dinner. This one didn't. Drivers were awesome but we were very disappointed that the wrestling masks were not included at all. They made is return them at the end
A fun experience but not worth the money charged. The tour "guide" picked us up at a designated hotel (not even our own) and just dropped us off at the Arena. He picked us up afterwards but would not deviate from the rules and drop us off at our own hotel, even though we were the only ones in his car.
Considering how cheap the tickets were, we would have saved a lot of money if we just bought the tickets directly and arranged for radio cab service.
