Our guide Jose took time to teach some of the kids as well who were taking notes for school about their culture and history. Very nice lots an lots of information and things to see. Go back if you have more time.

Mexico City Built over a lake

November 2012

3 feet below your feet is water. Wonder why all of the churches and buildings lean? They often rebuild or add on here as the buildings sink, a lot like Venice in Italy.

Jose our excellent guide-very patient with us

November 2012

Jose was excellent to have on many occasions. Very patient and willing to help you with translation in whatever language you spoke. Also nice to get all of the background and history. I would recommend the tour for the museum alone, but also the tour of the Presidential Palace was very nice.

Native Dancers-Zocalo-Think Venice Beach in Mexico City

November 2012

Zocalo is the Venice Beach of Mexico. Lots of acts and shows going on for you to see. Plenty of street vendors for you to buy things from. Lots and lots of folks mingling around the very large square.
