It was an amazing trip. The guide was excellent!!! We really enjoyed it very much. Puebla is a beautiful city and it worth to visit! i highly recommend it.
Great tour, excellent guide.
Cholula magnificent, Puebla beautiful.
The mole in Pueblo fantastic.
The distant snow covered picks are breathtaking.
Eventhough it is a very long bus drive, both places were very nice. The restaurant in Puebla was fantastic, and the tour guide (Miguel) was really great.
We enjoyed our trip and the guide, Miguel was
very good. The lunch at the beautiful Hotel Colonial in Puebla was really an experience. Great value for money.
Excellent day trip. Tour guide was informative. Puebla is charming, picturesque, delightful. Highly recommend.
The day spent in Puebla has been great because:
1) we were only 3 people
2) guide has been gently, well prepared and he explained in detail history and culture of mexico
That was a totally unforgettable trip! Our guide Ignacio was superb and extremely knowledgeable. The beauty of Puebla is hard to put in words; you have to see it to believe it! The restaurant selected for lunch was exquisite! Great cuisine, impeccable service and the ambiance of the "old world" was incredible! This was truly a gem of a tour!
I suggest to make a few stops along the road for photo opportunities, i.e. with view of the snow capped mountain / with view of the volcano.
The lunch was Great.
Although we didn't get to visit the he Convent of Santa Monica and the Onyx and Talavera ceramics factories - as advertised
Only three persons on this day trip. We were taken by car and our guide for the day, Jaime, was excellent. His English was very good and we got lots of information about the two towns.
The lunch in an old hotel in Pueblo was also very good. The tour was good value for money.
This trip could have been better if it had not rained earlier, because the tunnels in the Cholula pyramid were closed. However, I felt bad that I did not get to the top of the platform of the pyramid, because the guide did NOT know -- much less tell us -- that the way to go there was to go up the hill first, then go down at the back, before going around in front. The guide had told go there via the exit, and the guard did not let me through. By that time, I was already too tired to go up the hill again. Also, the driver got lost one time. And I ended paying for lunch that was included in the tour (although they did reimburse me some part a few days later). We had a walking tour in Puebla which was interesting. That being said, my rating would have been better if the guide and driver had been more knowledgeable.
While the city of Puebla is wonderful, but the operation of the tour company was disppointing. For example, the driver used the mobile phone eduring driving and the toour guider didn't say much about the tour schedule at the first place.
