First off this is a wonderful place, and it is a general culture must if you visit Mexico. But it is not just the trip to the pyramids that is pleasant about the trip, as you will first stop by a restaurant and souvenir shop where a man who calls himself Texacoatl (don't knowif that is really his name) will show you how his ancesters took their natural fibers, ink and even paper ourt of the Agabe plant, and then will give you a taste of the exquisite liquors they manufacture there. You can also see a few employees carving the oxidian stones and weaving these fibers into beautiful tablecloths and bags whichyou can purchase at the store. The food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious. This was a very pleasant trip all around and our Guide was knowledgeable and kind. Another important point is that even the vendors that WILL follow you around the pyramids have a tremendous sense of humor and will make you laugh (especialy if you speak Spanish). Buy silver from them, the prices are very good. The whole experience is nt only worth it, but it´s a must when in Beautiful Mexico.
Out trip to the Pyramids was fantastic. I enjoyed the guide, Sergio, as he provided details of all points of interest to and from the pyramids. There was plenty of time at the site, time to shop for souveniers, and a very good lunch that was included. I will certainly let others know that youtour was great.
The tour was fantastic and we were delighted to have Jose Manuel as a tour guide once again. The only problem was with our initial pick up from the hotel since we were told to wait outside in the motor lobby and the man picking us up said that we should have been in the lobby. When he found us he said he had been looking for us for half an hour and seemed quite annoyed. It was a very unpleasant beginning to our tour.
Trip was good. The two sites are a must for anyone see and be amazed at the history, architecture and beauty. The tour guide Hector was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly; he spent a lot of time at the restaurant twice - going to and coming from the Pyramids, however, and so could not adhere to the 7-hour schedule as stated in the tour information brochure.
