We saw what we wanted to see and more, a long exhausting day but we only had a few days and wanted to see as much as we can.
Our guide Tony was very knowledgeable and his background information made visiting the sites ore meaningful. The pyramids are amazing and this tour is a must for anyone visiting Mexico City.
This is a must do on your trip to Mexico city! The tour starts with a pickup from the hotel and you get on a tour van which picks up other passengers at other hotels. As the tour starts, you get to visit a few more sites on the way, including the ruins in the city, old church and a stop at a jeweler. The trip continues on it's way to the pyramids which are just outside the city. The ride had some traffic but it was interesting to see the city as we drove out.
Our tour included a lunch which was great and right after you hit up the pyramid site. Once at the site, you get a tour of the different areas and some insights into all that was discovered. Make sure you bring water and some good shoes as the climbs can be steep and tiring. There is no shade so you should bring some sunscreen as well. It was a great experience overall!
Also note that there are little shops there that sell hats, sombreros and other items for really cheap compared to the city. So bring some cash with you!
An excellent tour in every respect: knowledgeable, English-speaking guide very interesting, unique sites little in the way of visits to souvenir shops friendly, non-complaining other tourists.
Great overview of the Teotihuacan Pyramids and the Shrine. They added stops at a few vendors along the way, which apart from large tourist shops, gave us ample bathroom and refreshment breaks.
Wonderful tour, with excellent value. Great lunch provided, also. Frank the guide was informative and sincere.
Excellent Tour. Olympus tour did perfect job. We went to plaza de las tres culturas first. Then we stopped at silver souvenir shop. It was not fun but they offered free drink and free souvenir per person, and we spent very little time. Then we visited Shrine of Guadalupe. We both visited old and new cathedrals. Then we went to restaurant, and the lunch was very delicious. Finally we visited teotihuacan and had guided tour, then almost 1 hour free time to explore. That was the end of tour. Great tour that would not let you down. My guide was very informative and friendly. Driver did nice job avoiding most of traffic jams.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who will be visiting Mexico City. The pyramid of the sun was visually stunning. This is easily the most impressive site of its kind in Mexico and I rate it ahead of even the venerable Chichen Itza. I lived in Merida in the past and have been to Chichen, Coba and Tulum to name just a few and I can say that Teotihuacan is the most impressive.
Great tour guide, very informative and great opportunity to see the pyramids and the shrine.
this place is absolutely amazing!! the tour started out by checking out the old pyramids in the centre of town that were partly demolished to build the temple/church. We then went to a silver shop where we got free beers and tequilas, and drove to a place where they made amazing jewellery and sculptues out of natural rocks and lava, and also made tequila and mescal. After this we went on to the Teotihuacan Pyramids which for me was the highlight of the tour. So much history in one area, and we got to climb both the sun and moon pyramids, Prepare your legs because there's a lot of stairs. I just wish I bought a slinky to roll down from the top!! There are also lots of people trying to sell you their wares in the pyramid zone, You have to be forceful if you dont want to buy, if you even show interest prepare to be followed and asked to buy! A buffet lunch was provided after the pyramids which was really tasty and there was lots to chose from. My only negative feedback would be that the lunch was served at about 330-4pm, so take some munchies on the tour. The guides were great, very informative and spoke fluent English. one of the highlights of my tour!
This is a must see if traveling to Mexico City. My tour guide was excellent and I learned a lot about the history of Mexico. I had ample time to clime to the top of the Sun Pyramid. The Shrine of Guadalupe was also good because it was on a Sunday and I saw presentations by the local people.
The bus arrived at my pick-up location exactly as scheduled. We were also taken to 2 locations that were not mentioned in the original trip, but they were so wonderful to visit. The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable and gave us enough time to explore on our own. Lunch after the tour was buffet-style at a very nice restaurant. I highly recommend this tour package, and suggest to pay the little extra to have lunch included.

The Pyramids were really impressive. We climbed up up most of them -- don't forget your sunscreen, the sun is strong!
The tour was very good. Only having 10 people was great. The guide spoke English well, was very knowledgable and was well presented.
I already reviewed this. I said it was all great, but that the tour guide took us to 2 tourist shops, which I resented. Otherwise, he was knowledgeable and the pyramids are very worthwhile. The Shrine is worth seeing because it is important in the city's history.
Fantastic tour! Great tour guide, good programme: lot of extra touches are included Tres Culturas, ancient paintings. It indeed lasts approx. 11 hours, but it is worth every second! Simply loved it!
This tour was fantastic. My wife and I walked away from the experience knowing a lot more and feeling as if we were a part of history in the making. The tour guide couldnt have been more accomodating and knowledgeable. The stops along teh way to and from the ruins were perfect. We really enjoyed the food at the restaurant El Jaguar.
